Anyone else notice the review bombing?
Just curious if anyone's noticed the increasing amount of negative reviews being posted on the store page

I noticed. Started at 90%, now at around 77%.

Not sure if it is an actual review bomb or what, but something is happening.

I'm wondering too. The rating of English reviews is still very positive with 97%.

It's actually the Chinese players who give most of the negative reviews.

I tried to translate some of these reviews and I think it's not review bombing. Many people complain about the mouse+keyboard controls, others about the plot, and there seem to be issues with the localization.

After playing the game for a while... I have to say the plot is boring and the control is janky af. It's like I got bamboozled by the art again. After I finish I'm thinking of leaving a negative review as well. This game is worth like 10 bucks instead of 25.

it wasnt a review bomb as I have seen some legit complaints, dev actually committed a scam and false advertised the deluxe edition. the OST was claimed to "come" with the game but that is actually a lie with the dev trying to cover there tracks now and claiming its an OST in the game accessed by a special player (who the hell uses a music player inside a game)

I think it was just bad wording lmao, there is a music player IN the game, not everything's a conspiracy of lies and deceit

I don't think it's review bombing, just that after the novelty wears off people are starting to see some of the flaws in this game. I personally loved the game during my first hour or two, but after that some small issues began to pile up and it's hard to ignore them, made the game less enjoyable for me.

It's not really the best thing since sliced bread, but come on, people, not every cyberpunk game can be Deus Ex. These unreasonable standards are possibly the reason why we get a good cyberpunk game every once in a blue moon.
When you disagree with a girl and she calls it 'review bombing' kek

I don't think anyone was expecting Deus Ex, but I feel it's safe to say that mostly everyone was expecting the story to at least be generally coherent and/or for the combat to not be a fight between you and your keyboard.

That about the controls might be a bit exaggerated. Special attacks and the third attack in light weapon combos can not be dash-canceled, which I do hope they will fix at some point. Other than that, it feels alright. As for the story... The central thread feels sufficiently coherent but there are a number of loose ends both as tie-ins from the past and questions left unanswered. Seeing the reception of the game though, I'm not exactly optimistic about the projects future (though not pessimistic either).

I honestly couldn't find anything that I could animation cancel reliably, specifically into blocking. Again, I do feel like I was spending more time fighting my keyboard than the enemies, so your mileage may vary based on not using a keyboard and also not being me.

Story, though.
Main plot felt OK at best until the end, at which point it just felt ridiculous. IMO things didn't feel like they meshed with past events and there were virtually no questions answered by the ending. Might've helped if the 'Bad End' hadn't immediately led into the events that lead to the 'Good End' with virtually 0 downtime, because that drastic change in outcomes definitely threw my perception of events off. Again, this is only my perception and your mileage may vary.

Hi, why would your first assumption be that we scam you? We do our best, the description wasn't clear enough, we already apologized and rewrote the description. The music part we didn't decide upon ourselves and once we got feedback this wasn't clear we changed it.

Hi! thanks for your nice words, altho we did see a steep decline in reviews like the rest of you, we of course want to keep going and make the game better for those who already like it and hopefully acceptable (even fun?) for those who currently don't.

That makes me happy to hear. Best of luck and looking forward to the game's future!

For the most part, when you buy a OST for a game you can download it and play it in your own media player. Most game OST when downloaded are in .OGA/OGG and or .MP3 extension for better sound quality.

Having it paid and locked to ingame menu which is no different then games of the past allowing you to play the game music in the setting BGM. We are paying to use a once free BGM setting in a menu.
