Congrats on making the best Dirt Track Racing game!
First of all I would like to say congratulations! You have made the best dirt track racing game to date! it is not a perfect game but it easily satisfies my craving for a good dirt track game. Much better physics than Sprint Car Racing and a better detailed Career Mode. If you are a fan of dirt track racing this game will not disappoint. I have played them all. Mario Andretti's Racing on Genesis, the very first time Dirt Track Racing came to PC back in 2000ish, then came DTR2, then came Sprint Car game by the very same company, Dirt to Daytona, Saturday Night Speedway, World of Outlaws, Road to Knoxville etc. etc... I will leave rfactor and iracing out of this because they are supposed to be true simulation, which this game is not.

Although I got 7hrs into this game already there's some things I would RECOMMEND for future patches IF not already thought of? As being a huge dirt track fan there's only a few things that would make this the PERFECT dirt track racing game....

-Add Late Models. We love our Late Models and they are missing :(
-Add more body styles to Street Stock division (Camaro, Monte Carlo, Nova etc). Legends & Modifieds are okay.
-Can you make it where we can change the color of the roll cage & rims in the paintbooth?
-Body Options. (no spoiler, or have a spoiler, different grills etc)
-I like the "Showcases" but maybe call them "Memorial Races". Memorial races are BIG in dirt racing and it would just fit to add a "Gene Johnson Memorial" or "Jim Dunn Memorial" etc.
-AI cars feel like they are a concrete wall a lot of the times and the damage could use an increase visually.
-Of course the engine sound. I can let the engine sound slide on the Street Stocks & Legends, but the BIG BLOCK Modifieds are thunderous and a new engine sound for them (accurate) would be great!
(BTW I would gladly pay another $30 if most of this stuff was in a huge update/DLC, just saying)

I love the difficulty, I actually suck starting out in the Career Mode and slowly work your way to being better and it makes the game fun and challenging (Tip: Always go for the Challenging Option).

You guys have started something great with this game and I can't wait to see what improvements to an already great dirt track game have in store for us in the future. Or in the sequel (I know I'm thinking way ahead).

But again people, if you love dirt track racing or if you are just scratching the surface of dirt track racing this game will not disappoint. BUY IT.

OVERALL 8 out of 10. (with GREAT potential for improvements to a great game already)

P.S - Where in the world did you get these Manager photos ><

Isn't Tony Stewart's Sprint Car Racing just as good?

This one has a new physics implementation that's superior.

That is cool in theory but can you tell the difference and if so, does the difference feel better?

Thanks.

I just think it is kind of shady of them to release Sprint Car Racing in February, and then only 6 months late release a new and better version of pretty much the same game. It is like they had this game on the burner about to be released but had Sprint Car Racing laying around and decided to first release that as a cash grab. I feel a bit ripped off.

+1 - especially considering this is a spin off from the NASCAR Heat Series platform.

Compensating factor is pricing.

At least they could have given a discount to current owners of Sprint Car Racing. They didn't and that's why I will never buy this game.

Agree :) And I hope the developers will patch the previous game to improve physics. And I would like more realistic damage, and of course, improved graphics.

Well, if you can always wait for a sale. I mean SCR is now also sold at a lower price. I am getting some good signals on AAR, so I’m deciding to get it now or at a later date.

It's only $30? Which I might add is a fair deal considering we got TWO games for $60 instead of just one, but that's the way I see it.

I don't own the game but I have had experience of it and I would suggest this is an absolute gem. Initially I was disappointed with the apparent lack of generic keyboard support for driving - and then was delighted to find it in the options along with a comprehensive list list of other KB options.

The menu is full of choices although slightly lacking of many PC game 'visual' options so as this series of games is so new to me I'm guessing this is a port? I wouldn't know as I have never had a console.

I did use my Xbox controller thingy to get around the menu a little but once sorted it was all go.

I love circuit racing and Nascar but being in the UK we get to see little and mostly is just shown whenever their is a slot in some vague channel and so to see something like this style of racing this is virtually impossible to experience on TV

So... my short experience of the game was fantastic and the absolute need to do just one more lap (even in the practice mode as this is all I had time for) was thrilling and exciting so much so I have put this on my games wanted list and will be purchasing it when I am in a position to. I just want more LOL

Congrats and thanks to the devs.

I'll be back :lunar2019smilingpig:

Need a huge Northeast Big Block/ Super Dirt series character add or skins:(. Would love to run as one of the guys I’ve been watching since I was a young boy. Or even add some of the actual tracks. Fonda speedway would be a real interesting one
