Just got the game, can't get my wheel or pedals to work.I tried mapping them but when I go to the game the car is in reverse and full throttle? Do I have to disable the keyboard or something? Also my wheel and pedals are separate usb plug in.will this work?

Yes, this configuration should work. Are you running the Logitech software? It needs to be running for the wheel to work properly. Also, do you have any other input devices plugged in (a gamepad, for instance?) Try unplugging them and then launching the game. Also, try rebooting your computer (we have seen some wheel/pedal drivers get stuck in a weird state, and rebooting fixes them up).

Your Steam Client offers a controller interface, it can cause problems if you are using another driver/app/emulator for your device.

There is a switch to turn these settings on/off for each game. Right click on the game in steam library and choose properties. "Steam Input Per-Game Setting" ; “Use your Global Steam Input" for on, "Force Off" to disable. Select Force Off.

Some have reported this setting can change on its own when Steam client updates.

After trying an older wingman wheel I got the wheel and pedals to work but the car is stuck on pit road? I have throttle and steering,I put it in first gear step on the gas and the car doesn't move?

In options do you have it set to require the clutch with stick shift?

Is there a way to work around not having a clutch? I can't assign a button for the clutch and I only have a 2 pedal set up

If you don't have a clutch, make sure the checkbox to "Use clutch with stick shift" on the Controls Options page is not checked.

Is there a key board short cut list? As far as what buttons do what in place of a controller? For example it shows the 'Y' button on the controller will reset to factory default? What key on the keyboard would do this?

For your specific question, the "Y" key will act as the Y button, by default.

When I go to test sensitivity? I step on the gas and the brake pegs to the top and stays there, throttle and steering work. That's why I think the brake goes on and stays there? One thing I noticed is in player 1 setting there is no option for transmission type, in player 2 setting there is option for transmission, manual or automatic

The player 1 transmission is controller by the option on the far left Gameplay settings tab. I know, it's confusing.

Ok, I was finally able to turn some laps.
I had to remove any input for the brake pedal. So I can race but I have NO brakes

Now that you've removed all inputs on brake, can you add your pedal back in?

i have also had this problem with my "Brake pedal full down , and stuck in reverse , on here and on nascar heat , dont know why
