However, I'm pretty sure that there're better heroes unlocked later. Not Margosa tho - she doesn't have anything particularly awesome in her arsenal.
But, typical with KRs, different levels actually favor different heroes, sometimes very strongly so.
Honorable mention to Asra, Margosa and the Ice dragon.
Also Doomtank hits hard an in an aoe so is great support to barracks its expendables are on a low c/d every 15 seconds and they are one of the toughest blockers in game and you get 3 of them and they do ranged damage and attack harder than asra damage range (although asra does more with her armor shred against armored o/c) its heat missles target the entire map as well, its aoe stun ability can target flyers too. scorching cannon is really great against low armor fast mobs.
I do agree that Beresad is probably the best for economy his passsive alone makes the game much easier with the extra gold. Im surprised you mention the dragons and miss out on the best one Murglun shes has the highest damage output in of all the heroes, dealing powerful aoe and true damage in addition to buffing the damage of nearby towers. Her lava blood ability allows her to damage enemies right underneath her, something flying heroes normally cannot do. While her damage output is excellent, unlike Beresad and Eiskalt she has no crowd control whatsoever Eiskalt is king for CC but with tower support she is my go to Hero for the pure damage she can dish out
I dont like: Mortemis, Jack'o'Lantern, Veryk, Oloch.
Not yet tested : Tramin, Jigou, Doom Tank, Jun'Pai.
Margosa isnt that good since shes just pure melee dps with some added healing for sustain. Murglum is just better compared to that since it has not only more damage than margosa, but also can quickly dissolve dangerous situations with an ult while margosa cant.
It's probably safe to say that most people don't like Jack. You get him very late in the game and his health+moves aren't as good as others. However I feel like he's a good challenge so I use him a lot.
Compared to the wiki it doesn't seem to have an AOE basic attack anymore and his ultimate is now garbage: 240 damage maxed, down from 2100, and pretty terrible in practice, often failing to kill even junk units that walk through most of the fire area.
