Hi. I think it is really a great game, goat tier alongside Frontiers imo. You played in all previous games so I'm sure you're going to have fun with this one and it won't be difficult for you. I think it's excellent value for money. Check more reviews to make a right decission.

easy - difficult. All the difficulty settings are covered. Easy is perhaps to easy. I love it. Owned it on my phone and now own it on PC. Was happy to play it on both.

I strongly recommend it...Game speed is fine imo, price is fine, game is really fun,you get a lot more towers than the other 3 KR games,a lot of heroes too,a lot of levels(some of them are harder and easier)You have 4 difficulties:easy, normal, veteran, impossible(you unlock impossible if you finish game on veteran).Art style as usually is pretty cool.Heroes are cool.Game content is improved.Developers used different engine for this one which is better.Lot of achievements too,a LOT new enemies too,you will get 9 more levels after you finish main campaign.
Most important thing is FUN in this game,i'm playing the game again on impossible difficulty currently and i didn't get bored still and you will not get bored too i think.
Overall imo best game in the series.I think you should try it out :)

If you like tower defense games all 4 Kingdom Rush games should be in your collection already. They're all similar, and all excellent. In fact there's not much better out there and I know this because I've followed the genre for almost 20 years and have played most tower defense games released to date.

If you don't like tower defense games, or you don't know if you do, watch some videos or play some free ones first to see if the genre interests you. If you like the genre, all KR games are essential.

It's on par with other Kingdom Rushes. Regarding difficulty, as expected, there is a difficult spike on the post campaign levels but I haven't found any of them to be as hard as the ones in previous entries. The difficulty overall is quite fine and, on Veteran, it comes mostly from you not having all the star upgrades yet. With all the star upgrades and all the heroes at level 10, I found Impossible actually easier than Veteran (except for Denas's Castle very last battle, that one is... annoying. That stage is my only gripe with the whole game, I don't like it at all. It takes way too long to progress through it and if you miss one of the later steps, like the very last fight, you just lost 30-40 minutes for nothing because you have to slog through the whole thing again).

The tower mechanics in this one are a bit different from the others. On previous entries the player upgraded the base tower and then chose a tower specialization. That doesn't exist here. Each tower is already what would be akin to a tower specialization. So, now you simply upgrade each tower normally during a stage until you unlock it's three special skills. That creates another layer of strategy in how you approach each stage because there are 18 types of towers total, you unlock them as you progress the game, but you can only equip 5 of them at any time. That makes it important to choose the right combination of towers and heroes to tackle the different stages and, from what I've seen of other people's experiences, multiple strategies are viable.

The star upgrades are different too. Before you unlocked up to 3 stars by finishing the main stages and then 1 star each for completing heroic and iron challenges. Now you can only unlock up to 3 stars on the main stages, the heroic and iron challenges are there just for the fun of it (and the achievements) and there are less star upgrades. Whereas before you had a upgrade tree for each type of tower and one for summons and another for the spell, now you have 4 upgrade trees. 1 for all the towers together, 1 for the heroes, 1 for the summons and a last one for the spell.

On the heroes front, they're all cool and viable but the dragons, especially Eiskalt but also Murglun and, to a slightly lesser degree, Beresad are what I would describe as self-sufficient. Other heroes need support, either from a specific strategy or from a tower setup in order for their strengths to shine. With the dragons you can just brute force your way through the stages and they fit in any sort of strategy you might want to use. They're not exactly overpowered (well, Eiskalt kinda is), but they do not have any noticeable weaknesses like the other heroes do.

That's everything I can think of, I guess. If you liked your time with the previous games, chances are you'll like this one too.

Thank you all for your opinions and yea I think it is time to buy this game, as it would be a great addition to my collection(yep, I have all Kingdom rush games but I heard that this game was actually worse than the others, so I wasnt convinced about buying this one, plus it is 2 times more expensive than orginal and frontiers and I will probably wait for a sale)

You won't be disappointed if you liked the previous KR games. It has more a bit content than the previous games (for example there are 18 towers) and this is why they chose to charge more.

I personally think they should not have charged more, even though I'm a fan and I bought at release. I do not feel it has significantly more content to justify a higher cost. The upgrade tree is less detailed, for example, and there are only 13 heroes when both Origins and Frontiers had 16 (though this was after the free DLC eventually dropped, I do not know how much, if any, free DLC is coming for Vengeance).

But even if there is free DLC, the hero screen is laid out such that there is only 1 empty slot to fill up, so probably only 14 heroes total regardless.

This is all just my opinion. But it's still a good game, and easily worth it for tower defense fans, especially on sale.
