If you like TD games you need to get Bloons 6 NOW.
Like is Kingdom Rush Vengeance something that would get someone bored after a few hours?
They're just bad.
Really bad.
Fieldrunners 2 bad.
Why do you spout so much ignorance over games you've never played or researched? What did Bloons TD 6 do to you?
In BTD6 the hardest and by far most relevant difficulty/gamemode (CHIMPS) literally restricts every single microtransaction-related item, also disables Monkey Knowledge. As for the "grindfest" it really doesn't take long to unlock all tower upgrades, it really doesn't.
But good tower defense does not involve grindfest, and all Bloons are horrible grindfests.
aight found the gate keeper lmao
and not sure what you constitute as grinding, but it doesn't take that long to unlock all your towers to higher levels on btd6. just playing through the first few map gets you enough exp to unlock several of their tiers. don't take this the wrong way, but based on your comment you don't seem like a person i would take advice from lol
lmao wtf, who thinks like this? i think you're more than a "self respecting td fan"
Bloons is definitely more monotonous and requires unlocking/leveling your monkey knowledge, gaining levels to unlock towers, etc., but it has a place in the TD world. It's more casual and approachable for just about anybody, hence the varied modes of play. CHIMPS is the hardcore mode for true TD people who want to see if they can beat a level without any extras.
Kingdom Rush still stands alone in that it's a very unique TD. The style has been my personal favorite since the beginning.
On an alternate note, Defense Grid is another good tower defense game, though I wasn't thrilled with the second one.
Last Hope TD is also good, even though it's a bit underrated. It's pretty easy/casual since you can use up to 4 heroes that get leveled nicely, but even then, the game was enjoyable.
One game I won't ever understand people liking is Gemcraft. It's just boring and dull to look at. It's not cute and comfy (like Bloons) or aesthetically appealing (Kingdom Rush) yet people like it. I've tried them, the mechanics are alright, but I never saw a reason to keep playing.
Bad idea to play centrist when one guy (Rainbow Droid) is blatantly in the wrong & ignorant here.
