Sorry guys, im a HUGE fan of close combat, but i will not touch it if you are the ones developing this. You have a terrible reputation for just reselling the exact same games, exact same engines, just with a little superficial changes. I know your company so well, and how it operates, i dont even need to research this game, i know for a fact its the exact same engine you been selling for years, and you didnt even make the engine yourself. You destroyed turn based wargaming, i refuse to buy any more games of this genre till someone else starts developing them, someone who is actually willing to make changes and advance into the future.

I haven't purchased the title yet because I was so disappointed with the lack of improvements in previous releases. Now that I read that HerrBaron bought it and refunded it, I probably won't buy it at all. I don't need to drive every car on the lot to know which ones are probably bangers lol

CCMT has the best editor of all the CC games but the big down side is that there is no campaign like COI/TBF (linked single battles) or WAR/TLD/LSA (strategic map).

This seems to be the same CCMT game Matrix has been selling for years but with some added compatibility/options for higher resolutions monitors.

Use DPI
Scale Front End
Scale UI

And the /D option to run mods in a sub-directory instead of over writing the original game files.

Ive been playing Close Combat series for decades, overall this one feels its lacking (outside of reliability in the application) is finish, likely because they were trying to score DoD dosh by selling this to Marine Corps Training Command/etc.

Doesn't have the finish and immersion of other games and some of the UI feels rather crammed as opposed to earlier games.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Old school Close Combat (The entire series) works flawlessly, grew up with these, glad they didn't tinker with them and just updated to engine to function with new systems.

Please explain how a video game engine and an automobile engine are even remotely related... An automobile is essentially a tool, while a video game is noting more than a pleasurable time waster. WTH happened to the West? People used to be intelligent and understand simple concepts and ideas. What an idiot...
