Can you please explain how to correctly use the /D switch in COI?
I'm just trying to get the Grossdeutschland mod to work this way. I create folder MOD_GD then inside I populate it with modified DATA\Base, DATA\Graphics, DATA\LocalFX, DATA\Camp_OPS, DATA\OPS, DATA\Campaign.
When launching the game the splash screen shows correctly the modded screen with the nice artillery officer on top of a StuG, when trying to select either "play a game" or "create Scenario" the game throws an error message "unable to find operation in data, please re-install close combat" and it closes the game.
I noticed the mod uses the same name as vanilla game for several ops, could this be it?
Would it be possible for me as a player (and game programmer) to get access to the source code under NDA to fix bugs and AI problems? This is my favorite game in the series and one of my favorite overall, but it's a bit stale to play vs known issues that I would be happy to fix to improve my own and others' fun of the game. If so, who would you recommend me to contact?

it's an Exe file it will extract a zipped file with .cc3 extension to whatever folder you tell it to, then you have to extract the actual files using a compressing tool (I used 7zip). The install instructions are in the file "mod.ini"
Although I'm just realizing the mod is supposed to use a modded cc3.exe file, for the new uniforms I guess, but it hasn't been updated in a long time so I don't think that the exe that comes with the mod will have the latest patches improvements.
There isn't a specific point of contact but you're welcome to send your proposal and resume to jobs@matrixgames.com.
I am facing similar difficulties and get the prompt "unable to find operation in data".
I am quite sure that I have built the filestructure similarly to that of the mod-instructions.

Is there anyway you can repost that Mod unpacker or whatever it is? We need it to install mods that come in .cc3 format, so we can extract the files and use the new way to play mods with it.
It seems ccs.net is dead. What a shame, I remember that site from way back when I played CC2 and CC3 original.
