Zaku bullpup should stun every 10 rnds to keep up with the guaranteed stun ranged weapons
I don't understand the thought process on balancing this weapon against all the stuns out there.

The ONLY time this PRIMARY weapon will stun is if you knock the enemy ms down to half hp. Which takes about 60 rnds...on a weapon that has a 42 rnd magazine.

Common devs...really?

It takes 17 rounds, which is 2 seconds of firing. In those 2 seconds it does more damage than any bazooka or rocket launcher by far, and is build stun so it goes through instant stun resistance.

It has higher build stun and range than the cold districs, significantly higher build stun than the pale rider, and is only beat out by the unreliable zaku marine vertical missiles.

It is kind of comparable to the gm rifle, which has less sustained fire, but longer range and better accuracy, and is available on the same tier.


TL;DR, it's still a good gun.

Act zaku can't even use the AA gun, which is a really restricted weapon.

but you failed to mention it requires tracking and in competitive games, burst > sustained fire

also, i think it has less range than the aa mg, as well as no aoe which i think the aa mg has a tiny bit of or it's just a bigger projectile to land on hitbox

Then the games broken because the stun from bullpup does not occur unless the MS getting shot hits that half HP marker.

Also 2 seconds of perfect aim and hit reg on target...you have already been stunned 4 times by that point.

Machine guns have aim circles, they auto hit their targets within them.

Also build stun has a massive advantage over normal stun in some situations the sense it goes through stun resistance, and is why mgs like the act zaku and zaku MG kai are good, as is the anti air zmg and marine type rocket launcher.

what i mean is that they can abuse peeking and firing off a cheeky shot more easily rather than having to expose yourself for the full duration of that 2 seconds.

maybe you can peek and fire with the bullpup but i think it would be rather ineffective idk

I find full autos are much better in space personally.

More angles to evade burst shots in space, meanwhile the ASL feature helps deal with vertical enemy movement.

I wasn't trying to say it was better in every circumstance, build stun has it's uses as does instant stun. One of the reasons I like stuff like the dom barrage, zaku flipper, and similar is the access to both kinds of stuns. The big choice for the act zaku is you have to choose a low rate of fire instant stun beam weapon, or a high dps, low down time, build stun weapon.

literally pop off 2 shots with the aa mg, cycle into storm faust stun again, cycle into grenade launcher stun again, cycle back into aa mg stun again and then melee or if his not dead idk

no experience on act zaku or flipper or dom barrage yet so idk

The AA zaku MG is one of the higher dps weapons in it's tier, and even has one of the highest build stun rates period. It stuns in under 1 second.
You are better off initiating with the faust, then switching to the AA for stun-switch-stun-2hits damage-stun- grenade switch-stun. Fausts have a long time to switch to so they work best at the start of an engagement, rather than waiting 3 full seconds for it to ready up.

Automatic mgs also have accuracy bloom, which means they have to be fired in bursts at a distance.

making good MS picks is needed to win really lol, if you make very bad MS picks, you can already lose at the start of the match and your teammates will know it
