Quite perfect game mechanics (MS the best, pilot it's okay).
Acceptable interfaces and lobby.
Worst matchmaking in history (PLS FIX THIS)!!!

the OG NU is amazing now and the Sazabi isn't far behind it. legit VS the 5*s they are some of the best suits. Nu funnels have amazing up time and with the missiles or normal beam rifle fire it easily downs both of the 5*s while doing great damage. if you charge the beam you can easily chain stuns into a downswing or just funnels. Sazabi is also great as it's shield missiles are amazing for AAing and with the chest mega particle cannon you can fire while boosting makes aggressing on the 5*s downing them and melee comboing them when they land more feasible than most suits. saz side funnels aren't the best and follow are meh but with the sazabi shotgun beam rifle its another great swatter of 5*s combine that with it's great melee on the beam tomahawk and its a solid suit for 700. heck idk if the REGZ custom is in the dp shop at that cost but it works well as a shooty gen there too. might have a learning curve but i can easily nail top or near top damage with it despite how its burst damage may look. if you need a support the quess doga is solid and for raid varguil is amazing. the boomerangs make it great for downing the xi and invalidating HWS Nu barriers. shotgun also helps and it has THE BEST follow funnels in the game. two shots with them stun basically everything. tbh any suit with an fast swap instant stun + a fast build stun weapon with a dodge roll and a tackle will do fine in 700 till you get the natives. even then I still love the gabthley at times and am excited for it's buffs when they come to PC. Considering how you talk about the Nu and such i know you aren't A rank but unless you want the meta sweat fest of S rank and such instead of the more play what you like and chill of the lower ranks you will be solidly fine just getting better as a player before have to look at the suits you use. unless it's something funky like say the hazel oswala.

mm is work but too low players base made mm horrible. players quit for those perf issue and crashs issue and unfair penalty. while server cant hold more than 2500 ppl without bonker

So I'm having an issue trying to get in any matches on PC, I recently jumped to PC from console and wanted to play but every lobby I get into either fails matchmaking or I can't get more than 4 people in a room. Is this a mm issue or player count?

Largely player count, player rating, and time of day that you decided to play can affect you when searching for players during Rated/Quick Match. I think there are ways to check player count peek hours maybe try and plan around that first.

they should added bots for quick match like they did to gundam verse. 90 sec mm limit then filled with bots

largely mm is still strictly balancing team rating while those who are eligible rating might cant connect but those who can connect are not in the rating range that mm want to get in to room. more of it from low player base. they might as well let loose or disable team balancing or filled with bots

Yeah good idea, too bad the devs are incompetent lazy thieves to ever make a thoughtful quality of life change. For once you have a good idea from all your stupid ass posts but not realise how pointless it is. Those same inept devs aren't smart enough to make those sort of changes without consulting people through a survey. With surveys also, you have to rely on JP players to want those changes at all. I don't think they even need it for console though because unlike PC version the game functions properly because those devs have optimized the game's network and code for PS4/5 console only. Even then, it struggles on PS4 because those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ can't optimize it for ♥♥♥♥ so they have to compensate it for their laziness through the PS5's "better" specs.

This game wouldn't work with bots. Bots in mostly every other game is designed so that it can temporarily hold spots so that when a player joins they replace the bot, some cases you can control the bot manually, or some you can just simply play with the bots due to higher player counts. Bots are also not allowed to be too good and useful in other games unless the player can have an option setting for them to be so.

GBO2 however doesn't work like any of that. The game has a maximum player count of 12. You get punished for leaving matches in either quick or ranked matches. You also can't rejoin matches and have to queue up again.

The developers also need to code all sorts of things in on various maps such as AI behaviour, pathing, reaction time, aiming/accuracy, interactivity, restrictions, etc. They would also need to balance bots around using mobile suits and custom parts. It would also require them to code in Pilot AI too for stuff like capturing beacons, planting/defusing bombs, requesting support, and repairing suits. You also have to take into account other game modes.

I personally doubt the current developers are capable enough go through all that and the game isn't designed in a way at all to accommodate for bots. The practice mode bots don't mean anything either. I hope you can understand all this through your broken english.

trust me, bots are smarter than half of actual ppl that playing this game... at least bot dont shoot teammate, no down swing teammate. no goning alone in wrong place at wrong time.

Code fairy and the training ground already shows they done maybe 40% of the work needed for bots. As they currently are though, bots would be detriment to most teams.

I'd just like to take a sec to point out that the guy saying this has been stuck in the bottom ranks since the dawn of time. I know, because I see him hosting AB rooms on the regular. I feel like that adds just a bit of flavor to this one.

Some other considerations might be that this dude's sole identifier on this board is being the guy who consistently posts the most backwards takes on this game you've ever seen, and begs for buffs for some of the most famously busted MS in the entire game, like the PGTB and Nu HWS (both of which he just happens to play, by his own admission). It's not an exaggeration to say about 80% of what this dude says is some form of misinformation, though my personal favorites are always the tech support posts that read kinda like the PC building equivalent of those galvanized square steel memes.

The other day, I said one of this dude's posts was the funniest ♥♥♥♥ I'd ever seen on this board in 2024. I'm glad he came back to top that, just in time for Christmas.

For once, though, he's at least partly right. I mean... Bots are certainly smarter than some people playing this game.

curious what was the most out of left field takes that had you do a double take by chance? I think the one I had said was having a limit for mobile suits in order to prevent teams stacking the same OP broken picks like PGTB, GDPTT, Acguy TBs, and now Zeta Prototype to name a few one is a challenge but two or more just gets rid of any form of fun let alone challenge.
