Do people actually play space maps?

Like, seriously, i barely found rated matches on D- or higher, even found people around B in my session and it's 300 cost (which barely has OP MS roaming around)

Honestly so many of the maps and players in space suck more than a hole in a space cruiser, so I only ever do so when a daily mission tells me to.

I barely got to C- in space before I just stopped altogether.

i already consider bad teammates as a feature at this point, how these guys manage to reach A- is incredible since they manage to loss a rival against someone using F2P MS

no, its sucks. enemy team or your team spawn camping killing abuse in 360 degrees and no way to hide. space maps sucks.

Or in my experience, snipers just sitting there and never firing a shot because they never get remotely close enough to the battle to hit any ghat damn thing.

its Space combat which any game that has space combat as a option people wont play it. if your BAD at "dogfighting" youll get absolutely owned in space combat. ground combat you just have to worry about one line of axis. versus multiple axis points someone can flee. also the space maps are absolutely boring....i mean they have done a ♥♥♥♥ job at rotating maps as we are all aware more maps exist but some reason these rotations are not including them since beta and the first week of the game we got some other maps than nothing but repeats of the same ones over and over

you need to dogfight. shoot yourslef towards the rocks only 1 will try to mellee you. you can either focus on the ranged and dodge the melle which will switch to range if you get too much out of range. once you get your kills RUN! and hide the remaining seconds and just stay out of range. the map is fairly large

I personally just find ground more fun, space is more free and its a whole other playstyle.

Need time to get use to it but sure I do better on ground. However, in One Year War or the whole U.C. world, pilots did better in space than earth LOL

Eh space is okay. Main issue is that population is low right now so all the matches take longer to make.

Basic tip I can give is to look at the suit and see its optimize icon. If it says space optimized then that's a suit worth taking. Other suits will go slower if they don't have this.

Aside from that. Don't hesitate to drop low or go high to get out of firing arcs and never neglect melee because its just as deadly as it is on the ground.

I'll play space maps that aren't A-win when they bring back the superior space controls of Encounters in Space (PS2) and put up a zone that prevents me from being attacked from all sides into oblivion the second I respawn. I'll willingly admit I suck at this game, but space maps mean it's not even fun while I suck.

On the second page of the MS information there's three boxes that have a G, S and W on them.

Ones with the S box lit up have the bonus in space, same with how things like the Aqua GM has both the G and W boxes lit.
