What the hell is this disconnection penalty?

I've completed 4 games, just got on again to try to get a few games in. But got slab with a 1 day and 6 hours penalty. Yes, 1 DAY and 6 HOURS, not 1 hour and 6 minute, I have not quit any matched on purpose, one match I got disconnected because of internet issue on my side, and two other match I got disconnect before the match even loaded in.
I mean do you developers want a network test or not? WTF is with this penalty ban for over a day, even though it says it's only shown as penalty lvl 1. Why don't Bandai just advertise on the banner of the game "We don't actually want anybody to play our games, let alone net work test it"

also how many rated/ranked games do people need to play in order to get out of the penalty

unfortunately regardless if it was your internet, you get hit with a warning, it also happens from quitting by closing application. Other means of getting hit with a penalty is if you have been reported by players multiple times. Now to remove it, there is really no set number of matches in rated/ranked, its kinda random on case by case, some people have had to play 100 matches to remove the penalty.

2 disconnection and I was slammed with a 5 day penalty, 1st disconnection is during a Quick Match and 2nd is during a Custom Match, now I can no longer play any game, devs seriously need to reconsider the punishment for disconnection, at least allows us to rejoin an ongoing match or reduce the penalty to like 5-30 minutes

Console players used to disconnect all the time on purpose and throw games and ragequit. These penalties were grandfathered in via the code.

Very clearly this is the best penalty system, they've had 5 years to refine it. Don't expect it to change, ever.

if it was too lenient people would still leave, which is a huge issue in 5v5 and 4v4 matches (surprisingly, loosing a player in 6v6 isn't as bad). And i'm sorry, if you guys saw how BAD and COMMON it was at the start, you guys wouldn't even be looking at this as bad more like "oh, well sucks, but, oh well."

If you actually think starting with a 30 hour ban is good, you deserve the game you're going to get.

I complained about it in previous network test but they didn't listen to feedback.

Personally I think disconnecters should be permabanned and reported to the local authorities. Quit ruining my games.

Yeah but I get 5 days for simply trying to get into a game and getting disconnected from outdated Peer to Peer connections as opposed to server based connections. Why should I be punished for something I have no control over.

♥♥♥♥♥ sake, I was in a 700 ranked match and absolutely dominating the match, just blew up the enemy base and the score was like 12000 - 3000, then it gave me a disconnect penalty and kicked me out- despite the connection saying it was full bars + all my other internet content doing fine ( I immediately tried opening a new webpage and it loaded instantly) what the fk is going on? Getting hit with a penalty and losing out on my ranked win due to their own damn servers ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the bed.

They just need to shove dedicated servers and move from the damn peer to peer since it doesn't work with multiple different pc setups compared to just playstations. Disconnected twice in short amount and now I can't play till friday night.

I got banned 30 hours because of a ranked match disconnection error and apparently leaving a lobby (which was stuck in "forming teams" for 8 mins, I counted) is penalized too.

I had no internet problems and checking my network logs, I never even lost connection.

Hopefully, this gets changed soon, but we need to submit a complaint for this fast.

Apparently the 2nd Penalty is 30 days, like WTF.
