ECOAS Jegan. Bad or skill issue?

ngl it's arsenal just doesnt feel powerful

I would say it's just not particularly strong. Being a sort of middling General in that range is pretty rough since it traded any potential for a bunch of Radar skills, one of which is not useful for non-ambush suits.

The 550 range is just too harsh for it considering the level of specializations or general ability you're potentially going up against.

here are some quick run down for ECOAS Jegan
bazooka for stun
missile for leg damage or quick kill on low health ms
both grenade are great
have a dodge roll
and a good radar

I have the unfortunate fate of owning the level 2 version without the stark jegan bazooka. I only had one moment when using the fake beacon to down a support and the enemy frontline leaves me be and my general strategy is lobbing nades then go ape with sabers.

It's really bad at 600 cost, the native generals at that cost are monsters. At 550 cost, It can do well in City Ruins and Artic Base. Nades do decent damage and stun value without stunning your allies, so its good against engagements where everyone tries to melee each other. You'll need the bazooka to maximize its potential since at that cost and above, most people would usually kit their MS with more beam defense than ballistic.

The ecoas jegans nades are really good leg breakers
the sticky requires being armed first. its a fire and forget weapon. place it somewhere where you know enemies will be coming through.

In all honesty its a wingman suit you have to help someone else at all times to get its full value. you arent built to take duels. you arent built to brawl. youre built to walk along.

fringe situational mobile suit with usefulness in select situation indeterminable outside of the player's control, it's a recon unit in the most literal sense

Idk, I feel like regular Jegan, Stark and Prototype plays better despite lower cost than ECOAS variant. ECOAS variant just feels really underwhelmed, only map I see where it shines is Arctic Base cause of the small walkways where brawls usually happens, other than that its really situational.

But that again could be just skill issues on my end, I've only used it like 5 times before acquiring both regular Jegan and Prototype Stark Jegan, still looking forward to CH unit

Decent defense for its cost range mostly kinetic weapons which is also great at its cost and false flag.
