So tired of the brainrot "must right peek at start" mentality
like everyone knows both teams are going to rush right ending up leaving behind the slower units to be mobbed so why do people not have the brains to change it up or adapt knowing exactly where the enemy is coming from at the beginning? its usually that that costs the whole game later.

Its because the majority of the population left on the PC version are Chinese, and the only thing they know is how to NASCAR as thats what they do in their AB win rooms.

The reality is this: On maps like Arctic base, all it takes to stop the enemy is to shift counter clockwise at the start and fire into the chokepoints. doing that is going to cause them to take damage and even freak out and gunk up their narrow areas of escape. Making them easier targets.

The other bit is when you factor suits like the TB acuygs, Pixies, Desert Gelgoog into the mix and HIDE as the enemy runs past you, coming out to pick off the guys at the back of the pack in a faster manner than the teammates who leisurely stroll around the outer most section of the map.

But no. People don't do that. They have bugman mentality and try to "get behind" or "get right side advantage" on enemies nad usually fail at this. Which isn't surprising considering even the ranking system in this game isn't a measure of your skill. just wholly if your team has won enough times or not to get you to that rank

every map is nascar, even port base and military base
Mr.Kill 27 NOV 2024 a las 7:45
You unfortunately need to nascar at the start due to weapons being in the right hand of your suit most of the time and the maps in which nascar usually occurs giving a huge advantage from both a flanking and positional advantage to whoever approaches the enemy team from their left.

you don't though.

I've already pointed out shifting OPPOSITE of the standard rotation tactic. you get that dumb little "right hand advantage" while keeping cover and keeping the enemy in a chokepoint that forces them either back or forward into the gunfire.

It has never worked the few times I've managed to get my team to do this on artic base but maybe they weren't being accurate enough.

Thats because the average player is still trying to run in circles and with no way to convey "hey maybe we should hold the line" does it get carried to the team to maybe try and not act like an RTS Bioball.

At 350, where TB Acguys can be a thing. from the start shift left behind the rectangular building past the walkway. wait till the last guy goes around and then swing at them. heavy attack if they dont see you. then unload into the next closest guy before retreating. you're going to cause massive damage to at least 2 suits.

At 550 or w/e the cost the Desert Gelgoog comes into play. instead of being braindead and charging your beam rifle. sturmfaust > Arm cannon > heavy swing > run

Unless they have an Eyezack or something to outright detect you (or the VERY VERY VERY RARE chance they go to the outer part of the circle) you're going to be passed over.

In non-stealth situations you're bound to die, but you can shift counter clockwise and if you can see healthbars. pre-fire towards the cluster of them. if they're on the ground you can usually wing 1-2 and inflict stagger. repositioning to either get CLOSER and putting the building in front of you to keep you out of line of sight for the guys up top. Or retreat and take a shot or 2 at the guys at the upper elevation (though it puts you at a disadvantage). If you want to be ballsy and there is only 1 or so dude up top. aim for the group on the ground and charge down the guy up top.

Tactics and target priority is NOT hard. the problem is 99% of this playerbase plays like they're braindead. if this game had MSGO's ranking system I can guarantee there would probably only be like 10 or so S- ranked players in this game.

its the limited communication thats a major problem. takes a hell of a lot of luck to find randos that actually pay attention to shoutouts.

Don't get in slow suits
Problem resolved

If the enemy team suits don't without MA, Offense System, Forced Injector and other passive def skills maybe shooting at chokepoint might work.

Wait, there is someone else in this gatcha who understands that the most fun in Arctic Base is to find some high ground and shower the enemy with Guntank fire!?

if you can live long enough to make it up there and not get bum rushed. once did a match the enemy team had TWO ENTIRE XAMELS BACK THERE. we literally couldnt even get past the halfway point of the map cause they would focus fire stun locked us. and the other 3 enemies would interfere with anyone trying to go around or under cover.

Using geymalk at the start of arctic and blasting them with a full attack while crouching is effective as well. you will likely die but your team will have a solid advantage and you'll be back to clean up in time.

there are more worse than this. some ppl dont look at mini map at all or dont know what role their unit need to do.

Adapt by not picking slow suits and keeping up so you can use the camera angle you're supposed to shoot from and using the maps the most effectively. Realize there is an algo they use when designing the maps that make it so playing over the right shoulder and moving right at all times is the most optimal since you can't change point of view on the fly. When people complain about this they're just point their low IQ on display especially when you tell other people to adapt because they can't see their own errors. Thinking you can peak to the left and shoot a gun that is 5m away from your PoV is truly regardeddddddddddd
how about YOU adapt by recognizing that you have a slow moving MS in your squad and adjust appropriately. YOU are part of the problem. you don't take your team's MS into consideration and just get pissy when they pick "the slow one".

Maybe dig in with "the slow one" instead of leaving it behind to die? or using your speed to keep the enemy distracted by looking like the bigger threat. You come across as someone who lets the enemy shoot them in the back because there is a low HP enemy on the other side of the map.

The truly stupid in this game will say ♥♥♥♥ like you did and never once stop to think.
