So tired of the brainrot "must right peek at start" mentality
like everyone knows both teams are going to rush right ending up leaving behind the slower units to be mobbed so why do people not have the brains to change it up or adapt knowing exactly where the enemy is coming from at the beginning? its usually that that costs the whole game later.

Adapt by not picking slow suits and keeping up so you can use the camera angle you're supposed to shoot from and using the maps the most effectively. Realize there is an algo they use when designing the maps that make it so playing over the right shoulder and moving right at all times is the most optimal since you can't change point of view on the fly. When people complain about this they're just point their low IQ on display especially when you tell other people to adapt because they can't see their own errors. Thinking you can peak to the left and shoot a gun that is 5m away from your PoV is truly regardeddddddddddd
how about YOU adapt by recognizing that you have a slow moving MS in your squad and adjust appropriately. YOU are part of the problem. you don't take your team's MS into consideration and just get pissy when they pick "the slow one".

Maybe dig in with "the slow one" instead of leaving it behind to die? or using your speed to keep the enemy distracted by looking like the bigger threat. You come across as someone who lets the enemy shoot them in the back because there is a low HP enemy on the other side of the map.

The truly stupid in this game will say ♥♥♥♥ like you did and never once stop to think.
Give this man a TRUE

I bet that guy actually says "jUsT dOn'T piCk slOw sUiTs, LOW IQ MIDWIT" to all support players who play at 300-400 cost.

partly true. if that slow moving MS doesn't recognize how to utilize the situation. it should be left behind. or if it's a sniper who barely does anything other than "sit in the back" they should be ignored.

At the very least if you have a slow moving MS (regardless of its typing). you should allow it to get into position where it can be effective and stay within it's line of sight. if the battle lines move, the support should be moving up JUST BARELY enough to stay at the edge of the new line (as a counter measure to possible flanks). That being said, playing aggressive is also an option. Some people can't seem to comprehend an aggressive support like a Zaku cannon, Zaku II Heavy equipment type (with MMP80) or an aggressive Xamel. though the support should probably understand their shortcomings (speed, ability to stop after an HSM, etc) and work appropriately.

Going prone is another thing I dont see people use more. like that new-ish Canyon map. you cna catch flanking raids so easily by going prone in the water. if the suit is small enough you cna hide underwater. The enemy usually passes by you and at that point if you've still got an angle you can hit him from behind, causing a panic as you stand up. They'll likely blow their evasion at that point too, meaning little to no worry about being countered if you're trying a melee swing.

You can choose to help

its okay to die at the start of arctic base if you end up behind the group, the same thing will likely happen to the laggards on the opposing team. thats just baked into the map. the alternative is all 10 players going in circles for 90s until someone decides to start shooting, which does happen on occasion but is not really a better outcome.

Wait, there is someone else in this gatcha who understands that the most fun in Arctic Base is to find some high ground and shower the enemy with Guntank fire!?
if you can live long enough to make it up there and not get bum rushed. once did a match the enemy team had TWO ENTIRE XAMELS BACK THERE. we literally couldnt even get past the halfway point of the map cause they would focus fire stun locked us. and the other 3 enemies would interfere with anyone trying to go around or under cover.

Oh, I know that feeling.

Especially when I find a fellow Guntank main and you stun lock/shatter enemy suit legs in seconds.

Oh yeah! Dual stuns are neat. Also i really like play small nascar maps with Agguguy or Jurick. And Ghoul. It is like starting map with -1, -2 or even - 3 in enemy team in first 30 seconds

I thought it's because most of the guns are right handed, making it easier to peek? One need to move outside cover when shooting to the left.

thats a main reason but there are left handed weapons too just the camera is locked over the right shoulder, if they added a way to switch cameras that would change a lot

I would love this game to add in a way to switch cameras. It would help them to design better maps through multiple angles instead of solely favouring the right angle. It's crazy how games older than 2015 can switch camera angles but not this one in 2024.

u know it, they wont added or fix anything as long as tokens still sells
RaggenZ 25 dez. 2024 às 21:58
That how the game design as it, as long your shield is on the LEFT HAND meanwhile ur guns on the RIGHT HAND.

Pretty much nothing u can do cuz it only be disadvantage with unable to shield and getting stun before u stun them if u moved to the Left side.

I personally love to break that little rules by using Gustav Karl move the left and tank it cause panic specially on the artic base hehe.
