Invisible suits
How can I prevent getting into a match with an invisible enemy suit?
Any option besides to stop playing the game. Maybe I'll stick to the PS version but I think it happens there too.

You can't. It's dependent on the stability of the lobby and AFAIK you can't really control that since its dependent on who you are matched with.

You can't, expect don't Sorite with 1 to "?" bar users

Then theres internet connection if it's a good connection blocked port or security setting and they some how manage to play

I had it happen to me 2 or 3 times on console years ago hopeing to find the video of the gm sinper 2 that was there for a large part of the match but go invisible at the very end
My whole team spammed stealth unit or something during results

Theres also they chance a secuirty setting or a port on your side can be during it
If you have access to your router and can change some settings

That's if your getting in to matches and half the team is invisible, can't interact or attack you or see who your Allie is attacking
Also seen this on console 1 was a Hotspot user with t mobile, the other I can't recall

VPNs are actually usually shutdown by the game. Private Internet Access (PIA) VPN will have the game regularly DC you so don't use that one despite it being one of the best. Maybe there is a VPN that does work but PIA isn't it.

I use NordVPN sometimes when I play, actually when I use VPN it has yet to disconnect me, I've only randomly been disconnected from custom matches when I didn't have VPN turned on

The invisiblity thing happened tonight when I wasn't on VPN

Can you elaborate on this a bit? I have a friend who's been struggling with this for awhile. His connection is quite a bit better than mine, and he used to get 5 bars consistently. He's been getting 0 for a couple months now, and we have no idea why. It's a wired connection as well, so that's not the issue.

I've tried troubleshooting it for him, to no avail. His connection is very good by every reasonable metric, and whenever I've played customs with him, everything functions as normal. It really is just a case of this stupid game thinking his connection is worse than it is.

Invisible enemy continuous attacking should be regarded as cheating rather than connection issue.

Either way it's the devs' fault
They never fix horrible netcode nor do they implement actual anti-cheat

I wish I could
Peer 2 peer and networking is just to new conecpt for me to grasp
And then there's Gbo2

also don't have a router or wired connection to experiment with

I'm sure you tryed DNSs, reinstalling

From what your describing doesn't sound like he's getting the NAT 3 issue
Game would be bugging him with the message also
Which you would need to adjust router settings
Or ask your ISP if you can get a static IP or loosen some restrictions if they changed how they operated

If you haven't tried
Steam settings > steam networking
by default he probably has it
And see if that changes anything

In the months that he has 0 bar has he ever been able to get above 0?
When it happen was it gradually 5 to 0 Or instantionaly go to 0 and stay like that

Once in a blue moon, it goes up to 5 bars, but we tested by having him relog and it'd drop right back down to 0.

As best as I can tell, the game thinks his connection is "unstable", but by every reasonable metric, it isn't. You know how it is though, GBO has some of the worst network optimization out there.

Some of this we have tried, but next time he's on I'll see if the other things work. Thanks for your help.
