I mean I'll be honest, it wouldn't be the first time you've said something on this board that had me thinking you don't know what you're talking about, and gave the impression that you're playing at a level where you can pretty much get away with anything.
Also, like... Be real. You gave some elitist chest thumping spiel about how "meta players" are bad, which is basically just adapted scrub mentality. It implies that people who pick what's obviously good are just conformist sheep who are all but cheating, and you're the badass free thinker who picks the HM Ground Zaku or whatever. They're dumb and bad because they go with the known quantities, and you're superior to them because you fish your picks out of the swamp. It's very much a "thing" in spheres like this; it's pretty much right off the bingo sheet for all pvp games.
What's funny is I absolutely play more off-meta stuff than not (pretty sure the Bawoo is still my most-played MS in rated, and I play that from 550 right on up to 700), so it's not even like I have a dog in this fight. I just think it's straight up embarrassing to assume anyone who picks a thing that happens to be good is somehow lesser than you.
