You still can do a lot of "support fire" and eventually you would get to higher rated. If u can do rival win +3 everytime, you pretty much good level of assist.
So eventually this game, the raid would be more careful, the general and support is more sticky as team, but when Nightingale this kind of unit rush in, still the skill matter and would deflect how a team manage to react to special situation.
(It is up to the skill and how we willing to do our best part to help team, let go of heroism and focus on advantage unit).
Could most do it for fun (using weapon for fun together as a team), than watch all team die at the same time? XD.
They also can't solve people trying their unit first time in rated and fail like me though. For example, counting team's sortie count and the final rated would take consideration of all team's familiar. If 3 team member using new unit, the rated score of all teams winning and losing would become +4 or -4 etc. For 2 score everyone that using unit, more than 5 time. (Whole team using more than 5 time = +12, -12)
Smurf issue only applicable for first 300 match per ID though, no people have time for that. Moreover some people do some side quest in any other mode, everyone doing their own agenda, make the game unfun.
Just remove win/lose/KD and have fun XD, best if you mobile suit have 1 million hp, and everyone wont die. The game eventually just a showcase how gundam battle. Why waste time watching your mobile suit destroyed, just calculate damage as score XD
(Why no temporary disable unit, instead of destroy unit. Else need to make respawn faster, every second matter, that I do like the addict of the battle XD)

Apparently people cried about being matched with groups. Just use your radar and get good.
Now yes the game in general needs a lot of work from punishment to this but over all to the game i will agree but saying get good when the issues are beyond that inst the solution either it is players like you that are holding this game back more then you realize good day.
If your opponent's team is a group/party, then your team also consists of one, since the game will only matched party vs party, while the leftovers will be filled with randoms.
Meanwhile, people were complaining about how the game matchmake the groups, where the matchmaking system has done a really bad job in it, to the point that it's okay to matched a bunch of B+ and A players against A+ and S- players, which of course the results are obvious.
Another problem is the player's quality, where everyone who get matched with a group always expecting that their group can play the game with high skills + godlike coordination that will carry them to winning the match, which of course it's not always the case in literally any online game out there, including GBO 2, where individual player skills is still affects the quality of a group, and being in a group doesn't instantly boost their skills.
The devs could have improved their matchmaking system algorithm, so they could minimize the cases that I mentioned above. But nope, they just outright disable it, because they're a bunch of incompetent people who always run away from their problems, instead of facing it head on and also resolving it.
