its in the title but id like to know other people's opinion, and people who have played on console too id like to hear your opinion even more

I've played this on console more, but I use Mouse and Keyboard for PC, I play PC games much more than I do console games in general, so i'm more used to a mouse. I also prefer really long range suits, so the mouse gives me a bit better fine aim at a distance.

people who have been playing on console will be playing controller but if you're used to TPS games or even FPS then it's probably gonna be weird. You get used to the cursor chasing as you play more.

Interested in the next few months to see if someone does master the keyboard and mouse to see how well they play VS a user with a controller

Mouse aim is a disaster.

Try this:

Move the mouse right or down slowly (1-4mm/s). Input is completely ignored.

Now move it left or up at the same speed. 80% of input registers.

You're describing deadzones to protect against drift. It's likely built into the game and the mouse controls were added as an after thought. I think mouse aim is still pretty good despite the limitations that keep it in line with controller.

tbh i kinda like it, its obviously not as fast as any other 3rd person shooter (example the division) but at least you can feel the weight of the suit, i still feel like the game was purposely made for controller obviously

as i am a console user, it will be controller for me. i hope one day i will be as good with mouse and keyboard as well.

I played the tutorial on controller since the menus didn't have a proper mouse to navigate with, but halfway through i switched to mouse and keyboard, mouse aiming feels great i never had a problem with it, honestly i expected the suit to lag me more than it actually does , but it feels great so far, another thing this control scheme has going for it is being able to change weapons more comfortably, on the controller changing weapon by pressing a three button combination at once when you're trying to be quick is a bit hard to get used to, while the keyboard has all the number keys at your disposal

Gyro controls work on any game on Steam, you only need to set it up on Steam controller configs for each game.

I'm using my good ol' DS4.

Do you use the gyro controls to emulate the mouse here, or can you replace/map them to the gamepad sticks?
