2. Since many of high cost units got very large size and hitbox, there are some parts in a water map like Port Base where those units can't fit/getting stuck
During the initial release of the Military Port map, the devs literally shoved that map on each and every costs into the map rotation, including high costs ones.
But then the players were complaining hard about it, because it was really bad, due to the #1 reason that I mentioned previously, which makes everyone using transformable units that can fly to do flybys or dogfight, instead of fighting underwater, so the devs decided to just remove the maps that focused on water battles from the rotation for high cost rooms.
All of these could change in the future, because the devs just released a custom part that gives Underwater affinity to the unit via special missions that lasted for 2 weeks, which solved some of the problems, so who knows?
