How come there was no Gouf Custom?

How come there was no Gouf Custom? I got a chance play over the weekend and I was just starting out. I got to rank D but I was looking at the DP exchange center and It seemed like certain suits were missing.

Alright, I just hope they don't randomly choose not included certain suits at launch.

A lot of the suits were not available for the test, 0 Guncannons were in but there are tons of variants in the actual game.

Sadly the Gouf Custom is apparently one of the worst suits in the game for its cost so don't get too excited about it

We'll probably be on parity with the console version though at full release considering they gave some Unicorn suits in the test which were released not too long ago

there are meta suits and there are the meta suits for YOU, you are not a tier list you are not a machine you have a preference and a style and different suits will flow better with you then they will with others. you should always take what you are comfortable with over what the best rated suits are. give an ear to the advice of others but at the end of the day play what makes you happy and make it your own.

Gouf custom suffers from having a mismatched statline and equipment/ability set. It is positioned as a ranged raid, but has mediocre ranged options, and only the heat rod as a somewhat ranged stun.

The weirdest thing about it is that it's gatling shield is actually worse than the regular gouf's finger gatlings. Like at the same cost levels, the standard gouf, with proper leveled finger gatlings has a better ranged attack than the one that has the higher ranged modifiers.

The gouf custom seems like a downgraded standard gouf in most ways, and it makes no sense.

Yeah its considered throwing in ranked matches. But long as it's quick play no ones really gonna give a crap. Also surprising they just stopped at unicorns for testing and not include the sazabi(post buff), Kshatriya and Nu gundam for the tests too.

Yeah.. they did the Gouf custom dirty. As far as raids of that price category go.. basically anything else is better including as was previously mentioned.. the normal gouf

Dom tropen, one of the dom variants. In GBO2 has a raketen bazooka, sturm faust, homing grenade, mmp-80, and it's heat saber. All at the same time. A tanky high ranged damage unit with 3 ranged stun options.

Rick dias(a descendant of the dom also known as the gamma gundam), literally char's primary MS for a good period of zeta. Even Amuro used one or a descendant for a long time.

Yet in the test the zock, agg and gigan got in.

They just grabbed a handful of suits from across the cost list for the test

Way to miss the point buddy... but what else is new with you?

The Gigan is a MS that starts at 200 cost. At that cost level you have nothing BUT grunt suits. Not to mention there isnt really that much choice at that low cost level. Zakus, some GMs and an oddity or two. Furthermore these low cost levels make a very very poor example of gameplay because of the limited abilities and equipment of the suits. The focus of this beta was clearly on the high end stuff seeing as all quickplay matches where unrestricted cost and the lineup of top tier MS, even including the banshee and unicorn for people to try out. The gouf custom for example is neither a good suit in this game nor high tier as it starts at 350 cost.

This beta was meant to show off the game and drum up interest.. youre not getting that hype with a trash tier suit like the GC or Doms and Goggs.

But we both know youre not here for arguments sake. Cause else you would have brought actual arguments.
