How the heck do you get Platinum medal now?

Hi guys, I got a gold medal yesterday for this month. I was wondering who spent enough and how much to get a Platinum medal?

Just doing my daily 3 for the tokens and xp bonus. Did some extra grinding on the weekends to up rating to A- and promotion missions. that said, we still got the extra drop rate boost at the start of the month and the 500k dp that knocked out the dp missions instantly. I'm not sure if reaching plat as f2p is still doable next month. from looking in on reddit, it seems the 'strat' to get to plat as f2p is to hoard tokens so you can quickly get recycle tickets next month, and camp AB rooms to get the sortie and win X number of times missions out of the way.

Currently 3 missions away from the Platinum Medal with 2 Monthly MS.

Current Mission line up for me that I can feasibly clear are
5 / 15 Tokens (95 now)
3 / 23 Recycle Tickets (157 now)
121 Sorties
63 Space Sorties
102 Wins
48 Rival wins

The 2nd Token mission will be cleared before the end of the month but picking up a 3rd won't be possible unless I get lucky with Containers. 3 more Recycle tickets will probably happens sooner or later from Containers.

I've been playing quite relaxed. Only rolled a bit at the start and early in the month so I'm holding 58 Tokens now. Cleared all my Daily missions but not all Containers. Less than 2 hours a day except for the weekends.

It's just barely doable if you're going month to month. If you hold your Tokens for a month and spend them the next, it should be possible to get a Platinum Medal at least a week earlier. It will get a little easier if you have Monthly suits on hold and a larger roster to convert everything to tickets.

I'm fully f2p and got my platinum on the 2nd week (got the GM FA support).

You simply need to strategize your tokens spending, don't throw them away in the last week like today. Otherwise, just play at your best for those wins and rival wins, and do A/B rooms for faster crate drops.

That why custom match there is A win/B lose room. that not only use to grind crate, also monthly sortie 300 and win 200 matches. They grind daily for 20 matches +, each match like 1min30sec. You dont need to grind 150 rival win, but 50 rival win is mostly a must. Because token is hard to get, the recycle ticket purely depend on crate, if you not pulling gacha

the math works out to about $100 at the start of the month to get enough tokens and rt in the first week, otherwise it drops closer to about $60 a month if you grind for the first week and dont care about week 1 premium suit and hangar (someone above said they did it f2p, but the math doesnt work out unless you pull an absurd amount of gold crates for 3 tokens and then use those tokens on pulls for rt. Platinum is gated to pay to use without an event or boost.)

As f2p player you need to play at least 20 games daily + luck to get the plat medal on the 3rd week. A lot of luck if you wanted it on 2nd week.

I got about 15? tokens from gold crates before the boost ended. luck on my end to be sure. There's also the obtain monthly MS missions, I don't know what they refer to but I started with 2 of 4 complete somehow.

Monthly MS is a system that cycles 5 suits out of a list on https://p-bo2.ggame.jp/en/items/ under Monthly MS Bonus. It usually features recently released suits so if you rolled something new for that month, it can trigger your Monthly MS mission on the current month and the next before it gets cycled out of the Monthly MS list.

I started with 2 Monthly MS at the start of this month but I'm now on 1 because one of them got cycled out.

Ah I see, that's good to know, rolled the sisquede from a gold box so I guess that's one for next month done.

Spending 180 euro's on tokens gets you up to gold (with all the get x amount of token missions) with only a handful of missions remaining to get platinum. So you should have platinum by day 2 or 3 if you whale.

I leave my daily mission tokens with the gift-box guy, and take it out when they refresh the monthly medal. Helps clear off a few missions on the list.
