Why does this game has so many negative reviews?

I recently found about gundam. I remember there was an anime so i started watching it so i googled if there are any gundam games and i came across this one. From the gameplay it looks nice but so many people hate on it(both this gundam game and the evolution one)

From what I've seen, the majority of the negative reviews actually state that GBO2 is a good/fun game. However, this port is an absolute mess, and for whatever reason, they didn't bother having good enough servers that could handle the amount of players attempting to play initially. Instead of increasing server capacity, they just let the playerbase die out. So the negative reviews have more to do with the garbage company that handles the Gundam IP, not really the game itself. With that said, it's far from being one of the worst games on Steam, despite having one of the lowest review scores.

Most of the negative reviews were about Server Issues and Matchmaking Issues and the unjustified ban/penalty. Whether the game is good or not it is subjected to one's taste. Personally to me this is the best Gundam Game we got excluding the SD Series.

Also people hated on G.EVO because it was badly managed and the game is shutting down permanently on Nov. Bad monetization and game doesn't reward players for completing matches other than exps. New units were locked behind a paywall with no way of earning currencies other than grinding battlepass or pay with real money. Unit balance is all over the place, in 1 patch they make Gundam op then the next it is nerfed to nothing. And also the player count is getting lower and lower with each passing moments.

Both are good games, one launched poorly and one had bad management and communications.

Clans are gone currently because of hackers putting their clans to levels int he thousands. Don't spread false information.

TLDR is the game was review bombed on launch because of the horrid state it launched in - it was so bad that the company Bandai Namco put in charge of it got canned and they had to take over themselves. But nobody is going to change their reviews so we're climbing out of the hole still.

Been a long time comeing for a 5 year old, that just got ported that has alot of flaws that never been commented on in a public space

Yeah you really have to mute the voices. Constantly getting kicked from matchmaking to hear that could drive one mad!

The game is awesome, but the penalties not so much. Imaging not being able to level up or get rewards for at least 2 weeks.

This may been mistake on store page which was

There still in the credit list that you can view in the hanger the door that says salute the staff you have to emote salute to access the laptop
