The random bans are stupidly severe and i camt blame anyone for parting from the game as the current system is in no way acceptable as it is. Having 2 clan members banned in one night we all felt their frustration. This ♥♥♥♥ needs to stop.
Some games may get intuitive across the boundary control styles but its about the ergonomics and limited inputs of controllers that some games are designed around. I myself just keep all control styles on hand. Tho parallel and not exactly the same concept but it's nearly on par with complaining about a racing game feeling bad on kbm when it also was built with incremental input throttle. You lose out on alot of the og design focus.
As for banning together the steam reviews have already done alot of that heavy lifting. Anything further wont get us much anywhere as it seems bamco has stopped allowing their publicity and pr control teams say or do anything without their prior notice. Ala 500k dp twitter debacle. Were at the wait and see how the company chooses to address and handle issues phase and so far its the same old ♥♥♥♥ that killed gun evo community engagement wise. They take too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ long to say or do anything. It took them a month to fix rewards center not distributing glitch. Some rewards may have been lost by people by now do to their failure to resolve or communicate in a timely fashion.
Aside all this I'll still be on the game till i get my straw that breaks the camels back but the lack of communication expediency and transparency fills me with dread.
In any other mobile style games you atleast get a bunch of decent things when you play their slotmachines.
In this you will get 7 weapons from suits you will never use,
2 Mobile Suits that you will never play,
And 1 Rare mobile suit that isn't part of the games meta.
Out of pools for several HUNDRED items.
for $27 per 10 Pull.
f2p monetization is a cancer on the games industry.
people complaining about whales when the whales are what keeps the F2P game working. if you have OCD and must pull for every suit in the game because you have to have them then sure its expensive.
I spent 17.50 and have plenty of options, suits and parts. instant gratification will cost you but the game rewards playing over time, progression isn't always predatory... if everything was handed to me the appeal of the game would actually be less for me.
The game uses peer to peer connections. Friends and i haven't had a single connection related issue. Look up port-forwarding, use cable connection, keep your network drivers up to date.
And you strike me as the kind of person who would also complain if the game would have no strike system for quitters. So take it or leave it.
No one's forcing you to stick around.
If you genuinely believe this is anywhere near the bottom of the barrel in terms of F2P predatory practices, you're unhinged. Outside of high, very new costs, most of the meta suits for various costs are DP only, and you're not even going to be able to use those meta suits well until you actually learn to play the game, unlike a lot of F2P games. Paying to win only matters at the absolute highest cost brackets.
Take the recent Atlas. That suit was said to be extremely powerful...IF you could actually use it. And 9/10 people simply couldn't, they turned themselves into clay pidgeons.
A good player with a DP suit and DP parts will always trump a bad player with deep pockets.
Hell, take the Zeta, a 600 native. It just got its needed buffs and it's going to be a monster in 600, and it's extremely cheap in the DP store.
Haven't had the time to read the changelog completely.
But yes, that's the point.
Sure, there are definitely suits better than others. But they are few and far between and no single unit can win on its own.
You can very comfortably play GBO2 without spendig a dime without falling too far behind, if at all.
Yep. 0 effort was spent on this port.
In fact it's getting worse, crashing now when it didn't before.
Can't wait for AC6.
