again thats assuming the GBO2 release is considered "successful", as in, enough players to warrant continued efforts
Obviously not all the items/MS from GBO2 are in CF, but that's a simple question of data files and I can not think of any kinds of items/MS that are not in the CF simulators.
While there are a number of things that are in CF that aren't in GBO2. I'm not seeing any way of porting CF and not having 99.9% of GBO2 already done at that point.
You might well be right about why GBO2 is getting ported, but I'm not seeing how you can get to CF being ported without anything more that a trivial amount of work remaining to port GBO2.
While Gatcha games aren't as popular in the west as they are in Asia. AFAIK, there are still plenty that do quite well (World of Tanks/Warships comes to mind).
It's also pretty likely that suits in PC version of GBO2 will be introduced with some delay until they catch up to console version because they can go with idea of slowly indroducing content to make hype.
But take all of it with a grain of salt, Bandai Namco is pretty inconsisted publisher with pretty unconsisted developers under it's wing, sometimes they give you way overpriced ♥♥♥♥ that simple isn't enjoyable even for hardcore fans for IP but sometimes they do a "Lord's works" and deliver increadibly deep and content-full games for lower-than-fair price, and then give you good deal for good staff less than year old.
At least with companies like Koei-Tecmo you can just state that they are "obliviously evil" (despite their attempts to fix their reputation with Nioh 2 or Attack on Titans 2: The Final Battle) but with Bandai Namco it's impossible.
yeah calling them inconsistent is a stretch its more like the joker's randomness diluted into a publisher/developer
