Free trial

Hey, I'm trying to follow a tutorial so that then I can use my WII remotes for beat saber and I have been told by multiple to use this. I have been told that there is a free trial but it seems to have changed in the past 2 years. So what I was wondering is: is there still a way to get a free trial? I want to test it all to make sure I can get it working and then I fully intend on buying it, $25 is Way better than $400+ plus for an oculus quest 2.
