Problem with tVR

I'm trying to use tVR since I don't have a headset, and I don't plan on using my phone, but whenever I launch Driver4VR, it times-out after a while and gives me this error:

Error: Unable to connect to SteamVR: IPC Compositor Connect Failed

Closing SteamVR processes (e.g: vrserver.exe) takes me into the main menu, but no matter what I click, it reverts it back; I've uninstalled and reinstalled both Driver4VR and SteamVR multiple times, nothing has fixed it.

Please help.

I using HTC VIVE PRO

I fixed this a while ago by changing SteamVR (and the game) to use the NVIDIA GPU instead of the internal Intel iGPU, I did have to go out and buy a dedicated GPU though
