can i run CrosshairX without steam running?

as the title suggests, im trying run CrosshairX without steam running at all, i dont want it launched whatsoever, when i play games from steam i havent got much of a choice, but with games such as Fortnite, latency is a big thing, sure steam doesn't add much, but it definitely uses resources, and i'm trying to minimize it. Therefore i'd like to be able to run CrosshairX without steam.

i could've bought it on EPIC, but only found out after i bought it on steam that its Available on there, and even then i'd still have an additional launcher running in the BG just to run CrosshairX.

So can i run the Application standalone ? or no?

any help would be much appreciated

Not what I've seen. Tried to run it while steam was closed, and it would start up steam, and also add time to "play time", even if CrosshairX is minimized.

Yea i just got it on epic games aswell, still had rewards so basically got the app for free that way. doesnt solve my problem of having to have A launcher run alongside it, but atleast for games like FN i can use the app thats already running anyway
