Black rectangle on screen

I been having this issue like 4 a week, i load crosshair x, got my pointer but at the same time there is a black screen in shape of a rectangle that dont let me see. i have to turn off the pc to shut it off. Anyone have a tips to make it go away? greetings.

Please update the app again and let me know if it fixed the issue.

Another thing that seemed to have fixed the issue for others is to delete this folder:
C:\Users\{Your username here}\AppData\Roaming\CrosshairX

Not quite the same issue but just started the app and it forced me to update the extension. Now when I open Crosshair X it makes me second monitor black and I can't do anything on it unless i close Crosshair X

Go into Options in the app and disable Hardware Acceleration. This will fix it!

i can't do anything because of the black rectangle on my screen. the whole app is broken for me, even after deleting everys file, i installed it again etc... nothing is working :(

I just updated something. You might have to restart Steam to see this.
When you launch Crosshair X, press the second toggle (Launch in Safe Mode)
