I think you can reach a milestone once per game, and achievements only one time per Steam account.
Then just go play Factorio. You have that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ there.
"how dare this cheeseburger have cheese in it!"
I'm fine with combat. As long as it can be disabled 100%, like in Factorio. Because it's nothing but an annoying, time-wasting annoyance that don't contribute to anything except taking away your focus randomly.
Though i disagree they are "nothing but a annoyance", outside pressure and failure states exist for a reason and add enjoyment, otherwise the games all devolve into what satisfactory is: growth for growths sake, like a cancer. boooorrriiing.
You find it boring. I find it relaxing and entertaining. Never playing Factorio with enemies on again, ever.
Point is, this game WILL have combat at some point, and you will be able to turn it off. The devs have stated as such multiple times.
Nope. I HATE combat in tycoons. Transport Tycoon is fantastic. Absolutely zero combat.
Factorio is its own thing, not clearly defined as a "tycoon" or any other genre, its just factorio. And now a few games are taking there own spin on it ala this one. If anything we could call these "factorio-likes" and sense combat is a CORE PART OF THAT GAME, all games aping off of it will be expected to have combat in some capacity by most players.
DSP is going to have it, not shocking in the slightest. But the toggle will exist for people who dont want it.
Factorio literally is a tycoon / resource management game. It's even tagged as a resource management game. Do you not understand what a tycoon / resource management game is?
That again however, doesn't matter. I hate combat. So it's good that we get to choose. I don't play games to get stressed. I play games to be relaxed.
I have enough stress in my life. I don't need a ton of critters suddenly eating my stuff in a game I just want to relax with. I tried it in Factorio, and it's literally the most annoying, stressful and idiotic thing about the game and I'm never turning on enemies again.
After turning off enemies ... the game was perfect for me.
If you want to be stressed, that's up to you. I don't like it. I have enough of stress in real life.
Like wtf, most games have some level of resource managment, that dosnt make them bloody tycoon games xp.
I dont find external threats and actual challenges all that stressful tbh, just interesting. Vs falling asleep at my desk because NOTHING is a roadblock save time itself. But to each their own.
