Big fan of DSP, but since the last update I have had to reinstall, lose all previous saves and still I cannot play because of a XGP error. Has anyone seen this before and know a fix? Ta

Same error here for last 24 hours. Sometimes crashes in game or at main menu. Gamepass.

Same here. Started just happening once a session, now it happens every time I get near another planet. Also Gamepass.

Hey, guys. I think I found a workaround.

If you’re on Game Pass, disable your internet connection.

It appears that the error has something to do with that.

I am currently playing the game with my Wi-Fi disabled, and I’m no longer crashing or getting the error.

It’s not ideal, but until it’s actually fixed, this will let you continue playing.

FYI, auto saves are handled offline anyway, so you should not have to worry about that.

Just in case, I made a copy of my save file and stored it elsewhere in the event I have to revert to it post patch when I resume playing the game while online.

Make sure you enable offline permissions for your PC in the Game Pass settings.

I have steam version. Game freeze after some time. I was read this discussion. So i try to disable internet connection, but not help. And now i start expanding to second planet and it can hold even 15 min. I was read as well that problem is , when game auto save. It is not about auto save, because i disable it as well. But it is freeze just screen. Game run behind. So If i press alt+ F4 the gave is save. I start think about that i try to play with out dark fog. Before update it was OK. SO something wrong with update for sure. But probably play with out Dark Fog it will BY OK, I will try it this way, Update after some time.

FOR ME IS NOW STABLE,, I play with out Dark Fog. But I change Some setting as well. Setting what I changed. I had setup GPU lower with MSI afterburner. It was more quiet.
now i have higher frequencies with more noise. Another think what I did was move game folder from SSD to M2. and verified game. And i turn OFF Fast approximate anti-aliasing. What is help?? no idea. but 4 day no freeze screen. and i desable aploud date to Milky Way

I posted this on another thread, but the issue was resolved on mine by upgrading the PSU from a 700w to 1000w. I am guessing that something in a recent update put more demand on the GPU, which also caused the crashes. The gamepass point aforementioned and disabling network was also a decent shout.
