Power network numbers
I have a planet on which all power units I click report that they are on network #4. If I put down an isolated wind turbine, it's network #5. That means that networks #1-3 already exist somewhere, right? At least this used to be the case. But I can't find them. It's bugging me. There is no reason for more than one network here.

The ability to renumber a network to the lowest available number should be in the vanilla game to eliminate concern and confusion, but there doesn't even seem to be a mod that can do this. A mod that would clearly identify all power networks on a planet (perhaps with color coding) would also be useful. Does anyone know of a solution?

Probably 1-3 _existed_ , but you removed them/the game removed them in a network-merge some time after adding #4 [1] and I guess the simplest way of listing network IDs for the devs was to just display the raw IDs from the database in the GUI. So if database rows #1, #2, #3 have been deleted for no longer having any power network components in them, then rows IDs #4 and #5 are passed on though the GUI as-is instead of on-the-fly relabled to 1 and 2.
I guess a save game editor could change those row IDs to #1 and #2, but it would be nice if the devs allowed relabeling like they do with PLSes/ILSes (those IIRC also have their DB row ID listed in I think the "i" display if you don't relabel them)

[1] maybe originally unconnected parts of energy networks because of Dark Fog borehole geothermals?

Power network numbering is janky and the rules for connecting 2 power networks is not consistent.

You could have a massive power network called #1 and you could build a wind turbine somewhere and it gets #2, when you connect them one of them has to be renamed and it seems to be 50/50 which so the whole network could become #2 and there will be no network #1. The next isolated power you put down could be #1 or it could be #3

It is annoying,
