Anything you get from an ice giant, ocean, or while harvesting plant life doesn't count against you for the collect no rares from a vein achievements.
So:
Mining fire ice from a planet voids the achievement; collecting it from an ice giant doesn't.
Mining organic crustal from a planet voids the achievement; collecting it from plants/trees or creating it in a chemical plant does not.
Mining fractal silicon, kimberlite ore, optical grating crystal, spiniform stalagmite crystal, or unipolar magnets voids the achievement
Go ahead and start pumping that oceanic sulfuric acid -- it won't affect the achievement a bit; and it'll let you tear down your existing chemical planet production line for it.
(But don't feel bad - when I was first going for this, before we'd worked out exactly what the achievement triggers were, I not only avoided pumping sulfuric acid I also avoided gas giant deuterium and ice giant fire ice -- all while tripling up achievement runs by doing it in a 0.5x resource run without using any foundations. Guess I was really a glutton for punishment :D)
