Is there only 1 Mediterranean planet per game?
so i start a new game with 64 stars will there only be 1 Mediterranean planet? I know there are similar ones like prairie planet! But is there a 2nd earth another identical planet?

There is only 1. Mediterranean is the special one. It's the only warm zone planet which doesn't have any special resources. It's also guaranteed that no titanium nor silicon mines on your home planent. This design pushes you into stars while trying to finish the main story line.

Once you leave the starting system, there are other earth like planets that exist in other systems.

True, but those DO have rare resources on them, which the starting planet should not have.
