The way resources work, the farther a star is from the center of the map (your home system), the more resources the planets orbiting will have. Where a planet in your home system will have a couple hundred thousand of each resource - that same planet towards the edge of the map will have 100's of MILLIONS of each resource. With stars/planets anywhere between that distance containing comensurate amounts of resources. Ideally, you'd only need to pick a system or two out towards the edge of the map once, then with enough Vein Utilization (VU) upgrades, you'll never need to build more again.
(This is why game seeds with Neutron stars and Black holes out toward the edge of the map are so much better than game seeds where they are instead close to the home system)
You said you have a good setup already... if you don't want to expand your setup and only need additional resources, then you can just set up 'mining colonies' on those distant planets to ship the raw resources back home using several ILS. It takes very little time to set up properly, and doesn't require 'exploring'. With the correct tech upgrades you can see all the stats/resources for every star system/planet without ever leaving home.
When you pause the game, the black screen shows your seed and current basic game settings you chose when you first started the new game.
Cluster <8 digit seed> <2 digit planet count> A##
8 Digit Seed: Randomly selected or manually entered numbers from 00000000 to 99999999
2 Digit planet count: 32 to 64 in an unmodded game
'A##': 'A' followed by a 2 digit resource multiplier 0.1x (01) 0.5x (05) 0.8x (08) 1.0x (10) 1.5x (15) 2.0x (20) 3.0x (30) 5.0x (50) 8.0x (80) or Infinite (99)
With the blueprint system in place, you can literally copy an entire planet, creating a blueprint, then paste it down in another game with the same or different settings. (Just remember that Blueprint tech is not unlimited size at the beginning of the game, so planet-wide pasting might not immediately be available, so plan carefully if you go that route.)
* NOTE *: This is a single player game. Don't let anyone gatekeep you into not enjoying the game however you wish to enjoy it!

OP you will probably want to at least head out to the black hole/neutron star for unipolar magnets to make particle containers easier to make, also good for the mark 2 miners. And honestly if you're gonna do that you may as well drop some mark 2 miners on iron, copper, stone and titanium etc along the way and that'd solve your resource issues.
Failing that as said above you can use a mod or you can start a new game in the same seed with infinite resources or on creative mode.
