Just because it’s inspired by something doesn’t mean it’s a rip off.
And you can go to different planets/solar systems.. for resources.
It's more like Astroneer really, crossed with Factorio and Satisfactory.. your obvious "rip off" not really, those are identical games and this isn't identical to anything on the market.
There are Youtube Twitch and the price are cheap. So look at youre own. Its a EA if you need ready games, wait.
That's like saying overwatch is just a ripoff of unreal tournament.
Scale here is between factorio and satis-f. Enemies aren't in yet but are planned, imagine it will be more toward the factorio side.
View is closer to satis-f but adjustable to a decent top-down view as well.
The 3d aspect is only partially a thing for building. You can utilize space for belts but not most buildings so 'looks' like satis-f but acts like factorio.
Nodes deplete, uses research components instead of components for research, so factorio in that sense.
etc.
So far, DSP is a really good game.
Both the other games are awesome but this is just next level for me
Its worth every penny
I agree. I had a hard time planning in factorio prior to blueprints, due to the 2D nature. Satisfactory being 3D made planning easier, but execution was a pain due to the large scale, 1st person view, everything having collision boxes, and massive elevation changes in the map. Dyson Sphere Program solves most of this with a large mobile player character, 3rd person view, fewer collision boxes, and a slick interface + hotkey system. All its missing for me is blueprints
