Electromagnetic Turbines Question
Alright I'm trying to tremendously expand my super magnetic rings, particle containers, and accumulator production.

I am aggressively running into a shortage on turbines. I am also struggling to find perfect ratios, I saw a great setup on youtube, but I can't find it again. Does anyone have any tips for crazy turbine production? like ratios, etc. resources aren't an issue, I have multiple planets

some calculations (if you can understand my gibberish):
2/s Super magnetic ring *3s = 6 Assemblers 4/s Electromagnetic Turbine *2s = 8 assemblers 8/s Electric Motor *2s = 16 Assemblers 16/s iron ingot *1s = 16 furnaces 16/s iron ore 8/s gears *1s = 8 assemblers 8/s iron ingot *1s = 8 furnaces 8/s iron ore 8/s magnetic coil *1s /2 = 4 assemblers 8/s Magnets *1.5s = 12 furnaces 8/s iron ore 4/s copper ingot *1s = 4 furnaces 4/s copper ore 8/s Magnetic coil *1 /2 = 4 assemblers 8/s Magnets *1.5s = 12 Furnaces 8/s iron ore 4/s copper *1s = 4 furnaces 4/s copper ore 6/s Magnet *1.5s = 9 furnaces 6/s iron ore 2/s Energetic carbon * 2s = 4 furnaces 4/s Coal
number of assemblers was based on MK2, the green ones.
Also since you only want electromagnetic turbines, not super-magnetic rings, you don't actually need the top line, or the last 4 lines.

If you wanted MK1, they only run at 75% speed, so you'd need an extra 33% of them (so instead of 6 on that first line, you'd need 8)
and MK3 is 150% speed, so you'd only need 66% (or 33% less) of them
(so again on that first line, instead of 6 you'd only need 4)
(Simple maths says, to convert to MK1 requirements, divide by 3, then multiply by 4. Likewise for MK3, divide by 3 then multiply by 2)

unfortunately, since everything (Except the super-magnetic rings) are in multiples of 4 (all prime factors are 2), you'd need to multiply everything by 3 (for 12 turbines a second) to be able to divide into a round number of MK1 or MK3 assemblers.

It's because the production per minute on Electric Motor and EM Turbine is exactly the same, while EM Turbine requires 2 Electric Motors, that means you need twice the production per minute on the Electric Motors

Like it! Takes out the belt for the Motor as well. You could say it takes 4.5 assemblers to build 1 turbine sense the motor assemblers can share the iron cog.

it eats sooo much iron. I keep ying-yanging between upgrading this line and crashing my iron supply lol

Supermag Rings; 4 EM Turbine factories per 3 SM Ring Factories

Particle Container; 1 to 1 in EM Turbine Factories, but produces at half the rate (meaning 2 full belts of EM turbines to make 1 full belt of Containers)

Accumulators; 18 SM Ring Factories per 5 Accumulator Factories (realistically you should never need that much, which I learned the hard way after overfilling a Logistics network with them).

Per EM Turbine factory you need;
2 Motor Factories
1 Coil Factory
1 Gear Factory
2.3 Iron Smelters
2.3 Magnet Smelters
0.8 Copper Smelters

Yea it takes up space. The green turbines are one of the hardest ingredients to make in this game! Alternately you can produce the motors and the gears at another logistics tower, which is convenient if you add the buildings that require these parts into your logistic network as well.
