How to burn/rid off excess Hydrogen?
Im so full of this stuff and its clogging everything up! I cant burn it either well Icarus can but the thermal plant cant! and the Fusion cant either! Help i need a bin Item!

Fractionators will eat through a hydrogen excess like it's going out of fashion. Or you can add coal and use Reformed Refine to put excess hydrogen back into oil production and get more refined oil. It's mostly going to be a temporary issue as you'll need sooooooooo much hydrogen later on, for now you could just build a load of storage tanks and stockpile the excess. Also make sure to set up a priority system with splitters so that hydrogen which is backlogging production facilities gets used up first.

Idkk guy im different type of player i dont do mass planetary bases like you lot! i might to 1 other world! But im already at the white cube and in 4 different star systems! xD And Hydrogen is just still in excess! tooo much of that stuff i give you some then! xD for now i went the mass storage option and i mean MASS! half a planet filled with that stuff! I dont know how you guys use up so much of this!

Thermal plant CAN burn hydrogen.
Make deuterium either with fractionators or in mini particle accelerators
Make casimir crystals
Add titanium and make hydrogen fuel rods .

Thermal plants. I set up splitters to have excess hydrogen route itself to power plants as they can burn hydrogen very fast.

No they cant! i tried! unless my game is bugged!

They can. I use a large thermal plant complex that can burn up hydrogen as fast as it is produced to prevent clogging.

Care to share a screenshot of the thermal plants that don't burn hydrogen?

If you're having issues with hydrogen you're probably pulling too much from gas giants, as to make a white cube uses more hydrogen than it generates.

You can solve this issue by having your ILS that are receiving from your gas giants side load onto belts with T junctions as the joining belt as lower priority and only moves onto the main belt when there are gaps.

This ensures that hydrogen from oil and graphene production is used first before gas giant hydrogen.

This used to be a problem before they made the new recipe for refined oil. Just do an oil recycler: priority splitter outputting refined oil back onto input and sending excess out while consuming hydrogen and coal. You can turn 2 units of refined oil into unlimited production as long as you supply coal and hydrogen. needs double the refineries than refining crude oil for same output but makes for easier setup since you cut crude oil completely from supply chain
My entire plastic production runs out of this setup since coal mines are easier to scale than oil seeps

I do this too, once I have the technology. At the beginning of the game I put a lot of storage on both outputs of my refineries. For a while I have extra refined oil, then I'll have extra hydrogen. Eventually you'll use up the hydrogen.

Thermals can burn hydrogen. Note that if your high on power that they will burn real slow. To burn at full rate you need to use exchangers on a separate network. It’spretty conmon build. That or just use a ton of tanks as you will need a lot of it

The Thermal plant were not burning the H2 at all! maybe cause my power net at the time was very whats the word for i had more than enough power at the time! I will try that now as i need more!

I hate the "just burn it off" you need to run <= 100% to burn fuel efficiently, but then as soon as some unit starts/goes idle the ratio changes... Game first uses "Free" energy whats left gets split between all plants using fuel equally. Maybe there's some mod that puts priority on some sources so it actually works

No mod needed. Use the Energy Exchanger.

:o I never knew this is how that worked! Also, this may sound dumb, but do you know how the different priority settings work on splitters too? I honestly don't know if I fully understand their mechanics.

Priority is simple, when you pick one output as priority it will continue to output items only onto that output until belt is full and can no longer accept new items, then other outputs will receive remaining items until priority belt is freed.
