1) https://www.dysonsphereblueprints.com/
- In the Tag search box put in Mass Construction 1 or 2 which will limit the blueprint size to 150-300 buildings. This will help limit the size of the blueprints your looking for.
- In the keyword search for Speed Run or Modular. This tends to result in the smaller templates people create for very quick plop & go playthroughs which helps get more "as you need it" tech progressions.
2) Build your own.
- Start a creative game, pave the planet completely, hide the veins (so you have full build area), turn on unlimited buildings, research the techs you want (or all), then make your own templates & save them.
My first few games I did #1 but then I started making my own plop and go templates. If you do it right you can even include advanced stuff in your template and just deal with the ghost images until you actually unlock the item (I have ILS/PLS towers in mine but also optional belt inputs so i can use them before i unlock that tech so i can reserve the space and save upgrade time later).
I also have a generic 3 input, 1 output layout for Assemblers, Foundries, & Chemical plants that don't have any recipes set... I just plop as needed & select what belt each input will go down so its one size fits all :P
Good suggestions, thank you, I'm aware of the page, it's the only one like it. The whole belts thing is weird, mixed feels. Like a wiring diagram. My personal templates include logistics towers so I can just build drones instead of belts. I try to avoid paving the planet XD Though I guess the alternative is blotting out the sun :P
