dark fog spawn again?
Hello everyone,

I'm playing with Dark fog and seem to have wiped them out completely. Unfortunately too early. The new research with material from Dark fog is not yet possible.
Will it ever spawn again or can I start from the beginning?

Wiped them out in all 64 star systems? Not sure if they can come back from that.
But as long as they infest even one system they'll slowly launch seeds to re-infest systems they've been cleaned from. (Plus, of course, you could farm that one system)

i set it so that dark fog is only in a few systems at the beginning. i cleaned them all and also caught the seed in space. it hasn't spawned for about 20 hours now

Apparently seeds spawn from nothing when no hives are left in the cluster.

does it spawn again and again even though I've already killed it? that would be great - but hours have passed again without seeing an enemy

No idea, maybe try to pump all the sliders to max at the relay and see what happens?
Ah nevermind it has only aggressiveness so you cant alter spread ratio from there

Well, that's something I got from this board, so second hand knowledge at best.
If you got the research for it try using the star map to look for hives.
Maybe a system got already seeded somewhere.
If they aren't respawning then you'll probably have to start a new save.
