How do i fire guns from the Mecha?

When i press Z a new Hud pops but, but i dont even know if i have guns or not, i think i am a bit slow lol, does the Mecha have guns? and if so, how do i fire them?

Place ammo in your mech and hit activate it will then auto fire

You can shoot manually in Combat Interface(Z) and the range is longer.

Icarus has a built in laser that doesn't need ammo that'll fire as long as it says ''active'' under the laser in the Mech menu, You can load ammo to fire other kinds of guns related to that ammo type by slotting it into the ammo slots in the mech menu and then making sure it says active underneath it.

All your weapons can fire automatically, but you get a boost in range if you fire them manually in the combat mode (Z key)

You also pick up non-soil loot by clicking on it while in combat mode.

Press C to bring up the character menu and make sure you have either ammo or the energy weapon activated. Also maybe make sure you have fuel in your Icarus. Perhaps you are outta juice.

When you loaded fuel into your mecha in the C screen did you intentionally not look at all the new slots on that screen? Did you purposefully force yourself not to think what those ammo slots are for?

everyone telling me to hit Z needs to STFU, that was not my question, i had to go to the discord to get the answer (which was you cannot shoot the guns manually unless you have a target in front of you in combat)
