Dyson is making my pc shut off
Just as on title, Dyson is making my pc turn off, like, literally off.
Tested 4 other games, played multiple hours of them, not a single issue.
Monitored temp and usage, no issues.
Has anyone any clue on why?

EDIT: as of now i found a "solution", FOR ME, the game did something when setting the fps limit to 144 by not limiting but forcing, probably making the problem occur, the solution was simply put to limit to 60fps and had a 7 hours play session with zero issues. Before the Dark Fog update i had played 240h on launch on old computer too(i7-7700k, GTX 1080), when DF launched i tried again an the problem appeared on new computer (7800x3d, rx6750xt, MSI A750GL PCIE5 750W 80+Gold) and its the only game i had problems with since i changed rigs, the problem is clearly something the game is doing, as many have reported here the same problem with wildly different rigs.

Have you looked in the Windows system protocols with the error messages. Maybe this would clear some things up

My guess is Dyson Sphere is able to drain enough power from your PSU that it either can't supply or goes over the limit which would result in PC to shut down. What is your system.

Assuming your other games are fairly graphics intensive I would doubt this is a power supply issue. Having built a multitude of PC's over the years these sorts of bizarre crashes are usually linked to your Memory. I would go into your BIOS and try and drop the speed of your memory by 20% and see if the issue continues. I had a problem with this on newer DDR5 built systems. They couldn't handle 5600MHz and would randomly crash the PC. I had to drop it to 5200MHz. This game could be more memory intensive.

What I'm referring to is memory stability. The system can't handle the memory error and just shuts down.

Anything overclocked? It sounds like a hardware or driver issue. The game being unique and complex prob uses some instruction sets that most games don't use. This in return could be causing your PC to crash even though might seem like the games fault, it's prob 99% something else.

to me is sounds like either you computer runs too hot, or the psu cant manage push the required power.

My build uses 550w of power at max load, power supply is 750w 80+ bronze, at 75% its the limit from the build with a few extra Watts.
Its not memory, i play Tarkov and Star Citizen, both top the usage of ram of my 32gb.
Both games use more memory, CPU and all 3 games use 99% of video card.
Games tested, as of now, that i can play much more time with no issues: Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Escape from Tarkov, Star Citizen, Skull and Bones, Battlebit Remastered. All this game i tested with 2+ hours of game sessions (this are the more demanding games, i have other less demanding too that i have no problems). While Dyson i can play a max of 30 minutes before it shuts down my pc.

My build is 7800x3d, Asus Prime x670p-wifi, 32gb 6000mhz XPG (Adata) RAM, AMD Asrock RX6750XT.

Fair one. My bad. Wish i'd known about that sooner.
Your rig better than mine and I've not had any issues

You would have to dig up those errors from Windows logs, it's not expected that you always see anything on screen when it happens.

I looked on Windows Events screen for errors, pc completelly shut down with no error message, so Windows Events is the only place i can look.

look at your mobo and see if there are any power connections you're missing. I had that issue with an older FX (AMD) mobo and a game caused my whole system to shut down.

looks like your mobo has just 2 power ports, one near the keyboard plug and the PSU connection.

Try:
Win key + R
type in:
eventvwr
check the logs, either warnings or errors are the ones you want to look for. At the least should give you some leads as to what might be up, at best, it'll tell you directly.
Spooner Dec 17, 2023 @ 11:48am
In Windows Event Viewer, expand the Windows Logs section, where you will have a set of logs, the ones that you want to focus on are Application and System (in the tree on the left of the MMC console that opens)

If you highlight / select the Application log first in the left hand tree view, then over on the right hand side you'll see a "Filter Current Log" option. Click that and you'll see some filter options. Select the CRITICAL / ERROR / WARNING check boxes, then click on OK.

Have a look in the main log view, around the time that the issue happens, and see if anything interesting shows up. (You have to actually select the entry in the main view, for the details to show in the lower section.)

Do the same in the System log as well, select it, filter it, have a look at the entries.

You say the system actually POWERS OFF, and not reboots ?

If it's powering off, you've got something wrong with your PSU or it could be thermal protection shutdown from the BIOS...

Last time I had this issue it was heat related. If this is a new PC have you checked air flow and made sure your fans aren't fighting each other? DSP is really hard on a gpu.
