Dark Fog salvage

When you kill stuff the one building will pick up random materials. How do you integrate those materials into say logistics buildings instead of manually picking it up?

Battlefield command buildings. They repair things and pick up dark fog debris. You can add a depot on top of them for extra storage.

You can export items from the Battlefield Analysis Bases using sorters and conveyor belts; there are three ports on each side and another three at the back. Once on a conveyor line, you can use splitters to filter each type of item to its own separate conveyor / storage.

Note that, while you can have the Battlefield Analysis Bases collect all items, you can also configure them to only gather those items that you choose.

once you put down a good few Battlefield command buildings, they really need to be connected to a bus line that runs to a huge storage mall, that sorts it out with splitters into small storages and the small drones can carry it to locations in your factory where ever you need it.

Farming the dark fog, you end up collecting a ton of debris, which is helpful to growing your factory empire.

I would like to know how everyone else is managing the debris.

What does this salvage look like? I have a battlefield command right next to my kill zone but I dont see anything that looks like broken alien stuff.

Basically you run a line out of it into sorters and spread things to where they need to go. You can also turn off certain items you dont want to be picked up with the options. You can either run them into logistic stations or jsut run them into a new sorter and throw a box on top of it early game.

I wish they had an actual belt port like logistic stations but unfortunately you have to use sorters.

Also FYI dark energy crystals are ridiculously strong in thermal power plants. They last for like 2 minutes each and they drop by the hundreds. You can use them to power a base forever once you get a farm started.
