I'd actually like some of the opposite as well: there are "key" bindings that HAVE to be bound to a mouse key/action, specifically rotating the camera, which is bound to middle mouse button by default. Sometimes I game with a mouse and sometimes with just my laptop and trackpad and there is no "middle mouse button" on my trackpad (I'm on a Mac). I've tried using apps like Middleclick, but that doesn't translate through Crossover or GeForce Now. If I could assign camera rotation to some other mouse button or (even better) keys, that would be great. This is fairly common in games with similar camera mechanics like Timberborn, Cities: Skylines, lots of RTS games, etc. DSP is the *only* game I play where I *have* to play with a mouse.
I haven't tried it yet, but couldn't you just bind M4/5 to the 'E'/'F' buttons in the Logitech tool?
