Distribution range of logistics bots

What is the unit used when increasing the range of logistics bots? To me it looks like "30 degrees", which doesnt make much sense.

It is measured in degrees, the max range with all research done being 180 degrees... which means they can travel all the way around the planet in both directions. 30 degrees literally means you've got to be within 30 degrees on the planet surface from their start position or you'll be out of range.

If you need a phsyical way to think about it, look at your coordinate position on the bottom left and walk until you travel 30 degrees to understand your range. You don't really need to worry about it, by the time you'd even be using logi bots, you can upgrade the range pretty far.

I was very confused by the nomenclature at first as well, but it strangely does make the most logical sense. Additionally, I do believe it is latitude and longitude, but I have not tested to see if it is basic (+30 to both lat and long) or something more akin to trigonometric to form a radius.

Ah thanks, ok duh now degrees make sense, I was just thinking in terms of direction. I feel like Marty McFly "You aren't thinking 4th dimensionally!"

The same units as for the dyson sphere, I think it is the best way to express this.

I still haven't mastered the art of landing on a planet exactly where I want to go. I feel lucky to get there at all at a reasonable speed. The home planet is covered with wind generators, so replenishing mecha power is no problem. But I might still be basically lost upon splashdown. It's so reassuring to see those bots soon appear like ministering angels. Then I know where to head to reach the mall.
