Not enough materials when on sandbox with free items enabled

Unable to "craft" anything while on sandbox with free items enabled, restarting game, and starting new save doesn't fix issue either.

'Lack of Materials' is a fail response when trying to craft items normally, not the proper response when sandbox mode's Free Items is turned on. The Free Item option in sandbox mode is default off, and always turns back off when loading or starting a game.

The Free Item slider is grey to the left when turned off and Blue to the right when active. My S10 phone's on screen sliders have light grey on the left for off and greyish blue on the right for on. I can almost never tell the difference without flipping them off and on to figure it out.

When the Free Item option is on, the buttons 'Get Common Items' and 'Remove Inventory Items' appear next to it with another slider appearing below it for Stacks. Can you confirm the Free Item's option is on and those buttons work or don't work?

The slider is on, both the Get Common and remove inventory items work when selected, the message "lack of materials" only pops-up when I attempt to "craft" items.

I have recently discovered that the sandbox issue is only present when using the Galactic scale mod. If I delete the mod, and use base game, the issue is not present. I am unsure why the issue is present on the Galactic Scale mod as I have not had the issue on previous versions of the mod.
