Finished the game, but not getting an achievement.

I have completed the final research and did not receive an achievement. In fact, it says 100% on the research but nothing happens if I try to start it again. I can queue up and research other researches which require white cubes.

I have not used any metadata in this game - it shows 0 for realization of all metadata. Any ideas? The only thing else I can add was I originally created the game/system in early 2022.

did you play it in sandbox mode? Achievements are not available in sandbox mode.

Have you had any achievements from that save? Old saves by default have achievements turned off, to stop people suddenly getting a whole bunch for free when they were added in case people wanted to properly achieve them.

You can turn them on for a save in the achievements tab of the stats screen.
