Personal logistics inventory issue

I noticed that if I have item set for personal logistics in inventory menu, I can store this item in this part where it's defined for delivery (on the left side of inventory screen).

It seems like really cool feature because it clears much of space for other items. Except I can't use it in build menu if it's stored this way. And it makes it pretty useless.

What's the point of this feature? Am I missing something?
The only use case I can think of is to clear inventory space temporarily if needed.

I think it's the stack multiplication, with research you can store 10 stacks per slot in the logistics inventory, so you could have 3000 belts on you and only have it take up 1 stack at a time.

OK this is kind of useful. How can I take only 1 stack at the time?

Shift+rightclick, you can then move the slider left and right to change the amount and it changes in whole stacks.

A little bit less useful ;) I hoped there is a way to move exactly 1 full stack.

And still it would be much better if this inventory would be accessible as regular one. I hope for improvements in future updates :)

You can, shift + right click then move mouse to the left all the way and release, that'll be 1 full stack.

I think that it's only right click that opens popup to set amount to split. Or I have something messed up at my end :D

You can hold right click then press and hold shift if that works better for you.

OK I was confused because with or without shift it's the same popup. But later I noticed what you mean - with shift if moving slider, amount is changed by full stacks, not by 1.
