spacing ray receivers
I have about 12 ray receivers in a blue print. And of course when placing around the centre of the planet there is no problem but closer to the poles they are too close together and wont place, what do I have to press to space them out a little?

If you were placing them regularly, just dragging a line of them, then [TAB] would adjust the spacing between buildings.

But as far as I'm aware there's no such spacing adjustment implemented (yet?) when placing a blueprint.

As a general rule, if you are making a blueprint, build it on the highest latitude you expect you might want to place it. Also, with the sandbox mode you can design, build, and save the blueprint for use in an actual game with no consequence. Place it around multiple places to test for fit.

rays can only be places in the center of planets between the two bold green lines.

That's not true, in fact you want them at the poles generally, as depending on inclination of the planet it's possible to have some in the sun permanently and you also get polar summers where the pole gets 24h sun for that half of the orbit.
