Of course, building an invisible Dyson Sphere isn't visually all that impressive, but you can turn rendering on when you want to admire it. :)
And that's powerful enough to scale up a long ways beyond the minimum that's required to beat the game. (Especially if you're willing to turn off rendering of them if you go crazy on the dyson spheres)
But the game will allow you to scale vastly beyond the minimum necessary to beat the game. Personally I've pushed it up to probably 30-50 times that level. And there's probably room to push yourself to 4 or 5 hundred times larger a factory and power production that actually needed to beat the game!!
And that's more than enough to bring even the most powerful gaming computer to its knees
It would be really nice if they implemented an option to just make very basic dyson spheres on a preset pattern, and then let each stage generate a solid object the game can rotate instead of tracking all the individual pieces you've launched.
Erp, if you're choking that card then not much else to do.
